I could literally feel the anger radiating from Asgore. He stared angrily at him, it's like if I was watching two predators preparing to fight for power. Except that it wouldn't even be a fight, Sans was literally a god now. Asgore's not stupid enough to start a fight, right?

Asgore- WHAT DID YOU DO?!?!!

I flinched from the volume of his voice.

Sans- Calm down Asgore, lemme expla-

Asgore- I. WILL. NOT. CALM DOWN!! HOW DARE YOU!!?

Sans- That's exactly what I'm tryin' ta explain!

Asgore- YOU WILL REGRET THIS! SHE IS THE ONE THAT CORRUPTED YOU!! I'LL KILL YOU BO-

I didn't even saw what happened, but suddenly, the king went flying and crashed against a wall roughly, making a big hole into it. Sans was no longer beside me, no, he was in front of the king, ready to strike again.

You- Sans, stop!

He did. He stopped his fist just before contact and looked at me.

Sans- Why?! he just threatened you!

You- It doesn't matter! You did too, many times even! But here you are, protecting me. People can change, it just takes time. Besides, you don't want to be a king do you?

Sans- Well.... *Sigh* I guess ye're right, once again.

You- He, of course I am. Now, Asgore, would you mind staying calm and letting us explain. Everything's gonna make sense once you hear it.

I gently smiled at him, of course, the fact that he was still half in the wall didn't help the "calming down" thing. He stared angrily at me, then back at Sans. He slowly got up and walked towards me. Sans automatically teleported in front of me in a protective manner.

You- Sans, step aside.

Sans- But what if he tries to-

You- Calm the fuck down! Even if he tries, I know you'll stop him in a blink, so have some faith in the king!

He stayed silent, a bit shocked by my sudden outburst. And surprisingly, I saw the king's angry face waver a bit in surprise... Daaaaamn, I'm that effective in making people react?! Ok ok, that was a bit off topic, anyway, I looked at the king dead in the eyes as Sans teleported behind me.

You- Now, Asgore, I know why you're mad AND before you say anything! I'm gonna tell you right away, I thought you weren't the good person to entrust the souls to. See, I-

Asgore- HA! A mere human thought I wasn't worthy of the power of the souls! That's hilarious! And why is it that you think that huh?

You- Well, first of, you seemed fishy and you... Well, you literally snapped when you saw Sans like that, that shows that if the humans on the surface would've done anything out of character, you probably would've start a second war that would've led to the massive massacre of the human race and..... Ok, you get it.

Asgore-...

You- So, I just reviewed everyone I knew, and Sans was the one I knew and trusted the most-

Asgore- It's called favoritism, bitch.

He bitterly insulted me, only to get punched again by Sans, creating a second hole in the wall.

Sans- That's it, I'm killing that fucker.

You- Oh my FUCKING GOD!! WOULD YOU TWO JUST STOP THINKING WITH YOUR BALLS AND USE YOUR FUCKING BRAIN INSTEAD!!!!

Sans just ignored me and continued his way to the king.

You- Ok, fine, that's it.

I focused again and felt the familiar strength rushing through my veins. I took a random rock, about 6 inches, and threw it with all my strength between the two men. Sans took a step back just in time and the rock crashed again the other side of the room, creating a massive crack. They both just stared at the crack on the wall then looked at me.

You- Now that you both are fucking paying attention.... HOW OLD ARE YOU!? SERIOUSLY, WE'RE ALL GROWN PEOPLE, SO JUST STOP ACTING LIKE FUCKING KIDS, I'M TRYING TO EXPLAIN SOMETHING AND THERE YOU ARE PUNCHING EACHOTHER AND INSULTING EVERYONE!!

Again, they simply stared, completely baffled by what was happening.

You- *sigh* now, will you two shut up so I can finish my FUCKING explanation?

Sans glared one last time at Asgore before teleporting behind me without a word, as for Asgore, he stood up and brushed off the dust that accumulated on him.

You- Thank you.
Now, as I was saying, Sans was the one person I trusted the most, but also the one that changed the most. At first, he was just a mean sadistic bastard that liked fast food-

Sans- Hey!

You- I'm not finished. But he somehow became a caring and open person in a matter of a couple of months. So unlike you, I think Sans is the one that's the most likely to use this power to do good things. And, I know that if he ever looses his temper, at least I'll be here to get him back to normal. Plus, I'm pretty sure that me and him, we're the living proof that humans and monsters can co-exist.

Asgore- ... *Sigh* You are lucky, human. If I didn't care so much about my life, I would've probably killed you.

You- I'm not dead after all that happened so I doubt it, but think whatever you like.

He briefly glared at me then looked at Sans.

Asgore- What now then? Are you gonna break the barrier?

Sans- I'll sure do, but don't tell the new right away. We'll still have to test the atmosphere with the humans. So for now....

You- Just be sure that the Underground citizens know the surface rules, we'll take care of the human matters.

Asgore nodded hesitantly and started to walk towards the barrier. We followed not too far behind, and I couldn't help but stare in awe at the white, glowing wall that was blocking the exit. I heard Sans chuckle a bit at my lack of words.

Sans- Welp, I guess it's for me to do my job. Get back sweetheart.

I did so. Sans started to levitate, going about 2 meters in the air. A white glow was surrounding his whole body, then he suddenly concentrated all of the aura into his palms. Colors started to appear, all mixed in the blinding light that was growing into his skeletal hands. At a certain point, I just looked away, it was far too bright. Waves of power started to radiate from him and boom! A bright beam of faint colors formed itself, projecting onto the barrier. Then an even brighter light engulfed everything.
