Chapter 6: The Sleepover

I get inside the tree house and all the boys were already in there I placed my stuff in a corner away from everyone then sat down beside Benny.

Squints then got up and started telling the story about"the beast" which took a while but it was really fun to hear.
After a while I was getting tired so I went to the corner where my stuff was and set up my sleeping bag then fell asleep.

I woke up the next morning to and empty tree house,I got up and looked out the window and saw the boys playing,I put on my shoes and climbed down the ladder.

When the boys saw me they rolled their eyes then

Ham said"FINALLY your awake"

I giggled then Benny went up to me and handed me the bat,I smiled and got into place.

After an hour of playing we heard bikes it was Phillips right when Benny saw him he said

"Phillips what do you want"

Phillips then said angrily"I'm here to get my sister"

I groaned and said"Phillips I'm not going"

Phillips then got off his bike and came to me and whispered in my ear

"get on the bike or I'll tell mom and dad that you and Daniel broke up"

I freaked out because My parents only wanted me to be with Daniel and if they find out I broke up with him It would be the end for me so I said

"Yeah I'm gonna go guys bye"

I turned around and got on Phillips bike and started leaving.

Benny's POV:
Steph was refusing to go with Phillips but then he said something to her in her ear so I don't know what he said but after he did her face went pale she completely changed and said

"Yeah I'm gonna go guys bye"

She got on Phillips bike and left I filled with confusion the Bertram said

"Let's just play it doesn't matter"

Yeah-Yeah then said"yeah-yeah let's play"

We all got into places but the whole time I couldn't get her out of my mind I've only known her a few days but she was different than other girls every girl I have known was so girly and self centered but Steph was different but ugh I can't think of her I have to focus on baseball and school.

Steph's POV:
I got home then got off Phillips bike then ran upstairs and shut my room door and locked it,I look out my window and see Wendy she looked like she was going on a date but I was confused she didn't tell me anything about a date I shrugged it off and plopped on my bed then slowly dozed off.

I woke up around 8:30am it was Saturday which meant Phillips was gonna be at Leo's house for a sleepover over and I almost forgot school started monday I groaned and went downstairs,my parents weren't anywhere to be seen I looked out the window towards the driveway and both their cars weren't here which meant they went to work then I heard a knock at the doo I opened it and it was Wendy she smiled and said

"Your best friend is here"

She walked in and I closed the door behind her then started saying

"Hey I went on a date with the really cute boy and he was really sweet"

While talking she started looking through my fridge and grabbed a container on strawberries and sat on the couch she than said

"Hey you ready for school Monday"

I groaned and said"No no one is gonna like me"

She sighed and said"Girl cmon your gonna be hanging out with me and my friends"

I smiled and said"Alright then"

She widened her eyes and said"Why don't I sleep over the weekend then we can go to school together in my car"

I smiled and then said"Yeah sure"she then said

"Okay we'll we have to go get snacks right now because we can only stay up tonight"

We got up and we went in her car then she started driving to the drug store.We got to the drug store and walked inside,I could barley keep up with Wendy because she was grabbing so many snacks so fast,after she grabbed like the whole store she paid and put the bags in the car then we headed to my house.
