I had my back pressed against the wall as Leo walked in. "Go away!" I called from across the dark room.
He chuckled deeply. "Still got that fire I see." He commented, walking towards me.
I stood up and matched his height. "Don't come any closer." I warned, holding my hand up to distance us.
He shook his head in disbelief. "I will do whatever I want to, Skylar." His voice became deeper with authority.
I shook my head. "Go away." I repeated.
He ignored my warning and came closer. His hand jutted out and grabbed a hold of my hair, holding my ear to his mouth. "I will do whatever I want to." He hissed, tightening his hold.
The stinging in my scalp made tears prick my eyes but I blinked them away, refusing to show weakness. "Let go of me." I told him calmly, trying to avoid more problems.
He tightened his grip and shook his head, letting out a humorless chuckle. "No one is here to help you now."
I brought my arm up, elbowing him in the jaw. His hand let go of its grip on my hair and went to cradle his jaw. I scrambled away from him and into the corner.
He spit out blood onto the floor and looked at me, a sick smirk on his face.
"I warned you not to come any closer." I told him with a smirk.
He took wide strides towards me, anger pouring out of him with each step he took.
He grabbed me by my throat and lifted me from the ground, my back pressed against the wall.
My feet were inches off the ground, my body being held up by his hand around my neck.
I scratched at his arm, drawing blood, but that didn't stop him. "Let me go!" I screamed breathlessly, my voice strained.
I kicked him in his stomach, making him drop me and curl over, holding his stomach.
I ran from the corner and towards the door. I reached for the door knob and turned it but it was locked.
In a panic, I turned towards him to see him coming straight at me.
Not knowing what else to do, I brought my hand into a fist and pulled it back before hitting him directly in the face.
He stumbled backwards holding his now bleeding nose.
I stood tall, walking towards him again, hitting him in the face with my fist over and over again.
He fell to the floor, eyes closed, face a bloody mess and I was on top of him, hitting him with all the anger I had in my body.
I didn't hear when someone opened the door and ran over to me, wrapping their arms around my waist and pulling me off of Leo.
