After calming himself down, Taehyung came back. He sat down at the table, next to Jimin. The four dragon warriors sat down in front of them. Jin looked around the large table, noticing no one was going to talk first. Jin shook his head before looking at Jimin.
"Jimin, you were once a general correct?" Jin said with a kind smile, to which Jimin nodded to. Jin place his chin in the palm of his hand before continuing. "You must have heard somethings. We would like to ask you some questions."
"I don't know if I'm able to answer all of them, but go ahead." Jimin said in a calm voice. He could sense Jin and the other dragon warriors mood change. Whatever they were going to ask must be something serious.
The four warriors looked at one another, not sure if them wanted to know the answer. However, if they chose to ignore it, then many people will die. And that fact didn't set well in their stomach.
"In the years you were a general, did anyone ever take an interest in dark magic?" Jungkook asked in a dead tone. He was the most uncomfortable asking these questions, but it has to be down.
"What do you mean?"
"Casting evil spells, summoning demons and ghost, reviving the dead, ect." Jungkook explain. Jungkook watched as Jimin furrowed his eyebrows. Jimin was deep in thought for a good minute before shaking his head. Jimin watched as Jungkook's shoulders relaxed a little.
"Has anyone travel to Shadow mountain?" Namjoon asked in a calm voice. Jimin thought for a few minutes before nodding. His answer caused the four dragons to tense up. "Can you tell us who?"
"It was prince Jihun's bodyguard. Lee Sung-Ho." Jimin said as he watched the four in front of him. Jin was biting his lip. Namjoon was in deep thought. Yoongi was looking at the table with clutch fist. And Jungkook was looking at the table with a powerful and scary glare on his face. "What's the big deal? It's just a mountain."
"Your wrong!" Jungkook snapped. Taehyung could see a bit of fear in his eyes. Taehyung could also see Jungkook was clutching his fists, and was shaking with anger. "Damnit! I should've hid it somewhere else!"
"It's not your fault Jungkook." Namjoon said as he placed a hand on the younger's shoulder. Namjoon looked at Jimin and Taehyung, clearly sensing their confusion. "Jimin, that mountain was hidding something very dangerous. Something that we agreed humans shouldn't know about."
"What was it? And why did you hide it?" Taehyung asked as he looked at Namjoon. Taehyung notice that he was hesitant to answer. Whatever it was, it made the dragon warriors worried.
"It was a grimoire." Jin answered. Jin let out a sigh and rubbed his hand on the back of his neck. "However, most people don't really know about grimoires, because they were destroyed a very long time ago. However, we decided the hid this grimoire, simply because of what spells were in it. So, Jungkook hid it on Shadow mountain knowing no human would go there."
"Why Shadow mountain?" Taehyung asked, as Jimin and the others looked at him in shock. Jimin then realized that the king didn't tell Taehyung would stuff like Shadow mountain.
"Taehyung, Shadow mountain is known for evil spirits who take over living humans. However, some spirits on the mountain sucks away any human soul who enters there. There are even monsters who made Shadow mountain their home." Jimin explained. Jimin looked at the dragon warriors. "What kind of spells were in this grimoire?"
The dragon warriors tenses up at the question. They haven't spoken about the grimoire since they escaped. The contents in that grimoire is everything to them. If a mere human, like the one who made it, uses the grimoire, the dragon warriors purpose and existence would be shattered. The simple thought of that, was discomfortinng.
None of the dragon warriors gave any signs of answering. None of them wanted to speak about it. Simply thinking about it, is causing them to be unsettled. However, this matter now involves Jimin and Taehyung, seeing as the person who made the grimoire is still alive and is hunting them. Thus meaning, he knows Jimin and Taehyung are with the dragon warriors, and will now target them.
"That grimoire can complete control a dragon." Jin said, finally answering the question. Jin looked at the two, with a serious face. "It can make any dragon warriors obey the person. Even if it's something absolutely revolting, we would still be force to obey."
Taehyung and Jimin faces didn't try to hide the shock. How could a book control a living being? It made Taehyung stomach turn. He looked at Jungkook, seeing Jungkook's body shaking with rage? Or fear? Maybe both, Taehyung couldn't tell.
"But I'm still confused." Jimin spoke. He crossed his arms over his chest and looked at the dragon warriors. "How does this grimoire tie to whatever mark is on Jungkook?"
"And what does this mark even look like?" Taehyung added. Letting out a sigh, Jungkook lifted his shirt up, and revealed the branding iron mark on his chest. Taehyung gasped and covered him mouth.
"The person who made the branding iron, and told the first king about us dragon warriors, also made the grimoire. The same person also made weapons that could harm and kill us." Jungkook explained as he let go of his shirt. He glared hard at the table, and gritted his teeth. "The person's name was Kim HaJun. The first king's brother."
