Chapter 20: Not a Goodbye, But a See You Later

"The first king had a brother?" Jimin said in shocked. This made Yoongi chuckle. Jimin faced Yoongi and gave him a glare. "What's so funny!"

"Although you were a general, you had no idea that the first king had a brother." Yoongi laughed as Jimin's faced turned red from both embarrassment and anger. Taehyung bit his lip at the mention of HaJun.

"It's ok Chim, Prince HaJun was a forbidden topic in the palace." Taehyung said as he gave Jimin a soft smile. However, that smile disappeared as a thought popped into Taehyung's head.

Prince HaJun had told the first king about the dragon warriors, and also made a grimoire that can control the dragon warriors. Why did HaJun make the grimoire? And if he did control one of the dragon warriors, what was HaJun planning on doing to the dragon warriors?

"I'm surprised you even know about HaJun." Yoongi said with a smirk, clearly saying that Taehyung knew nothing. Jimin gritted his teeth and glared at Yoongi, who was just smirking.

"I am the crown prince. Granted, I don't know about the outside world that much. However, matters that involves the royal family I do know. That includes HaJun." Taehyung said in a calm voice. Jungkook looked at Taehyung, as his eyes shimmered. In that moment, Jungkook saw a king in Taehyung. "However, HaJun was a touchy subject and my father wouldn't say much about him."

"Hm, why's that?" Jimin asked. Taehyung frowned as he looked at the table. Taking a deep breath Taehyung looked at Jimin.

"HaJun was known for crafty and evil tricks. For example, he would control the dead and have them kill people." Taehyung stopped, waiting for Jimin to tel him to continue. When Jimin nodded his head, Taehyung continued. "Because of that reason, he was disowned as the crown prince and was forced to live in solitude. Still, HaJun held hatred for the royal family after that. But that's all I know about him."

"You're spot on." Namjoon said, giving Taehyung a calm smile. Taehyung looked at the warriors in front of him. He and Jimin both waited for one of the four to speak. Letting out a sigh, Jungkook stood up.

"If someone went to Shadow mountain for that grimoire, there is a small chance it's gone." Jungkook ran his hand through his hair before it fell down, covering his eyes. "I'll go and see if it's gone."

"Jungkook, you can't be serious!" Jin yelled as he to, stood up. Jin had a terrified look on his face. Namjoon and Yoongi both had a look of uncertainty on their face. "Yeah, you're unaffected by the evil spirits. However, what about the monsters and the Snow Fairy's song!"

"What's that?" Jimin asked. He nor Taehyung heard about the snow fairy's song. It was silent for awhile before Namjoon spoke.

"The Snow Fairy's song is deadly. It can cause mass hallucinations and paralyze the body." Namjoon explained, as he glanced at Jungkook. "It insently kills a human with just one note. That goes for a dragon warrior as well. Though it will take the full song to kill one of us."

Taehyung's heart stopped. He looked at Jungkook with eyes full of fear. If Jungkook goes to the mountain, there is a chance he will never return. That thought alone scared Taehyung.

"Jungkook-"

"You can't stop me Jin hyung." Jungkook said as he stared deep into Jin's eyes. "I'll be leaving tomorrow morning."

After the talk, Jungkook, Taehyung, Jin, and Jimin went to a hotel. Jimin and Taehyung shared a room, while Jin and Jungkook shared the other. After the whole talk was over, Jin and Jungkook haven't spoken to one another.
