Camp Hetalia was a camp for children from all different countries. So when a limo came up the drive, everyone paid it no mind. The door was opened by a man dressed in a butler's uniform. He had slicked-back hair and blue eyes and opened the door to let a boy out of the limo.

The said boy was about twelve years old with dark blond hair with a cowlick and a pair of cornflower blue eyes. He wore blue jeans and a camp t-shirt. He was jumping from foot to foot, happy to be out of the vehicle.

   "Alfred, now remember to behave."

    "Ludwig, it's a camp."

"Yes, and I will remind you that the only reason you got to go this year is that your grandfader and uncle convinced your Mutti to let you come."

"Yea.," he replied then hugged the man.

     "I'll miss you Ludwig."

"I know, I'll vill miss you too."

"Tell momma and grandma I'll call them."

     "Ja, still remember.."

    "I'll behave, bye Ludwig."

    "Bye Alfred."

Matthew Kirkland was holding on to this stuffed bear, Kuma. The twelve-year-old had been picked up by the bus when he got off the plane. His backpack was filled with clothes and snacks thankfully made by his housemaid instead of his uncle or papa.

He was both excited and nervous about going to camp. Papa told him it will help him get out of his shell, and maybe help him find new friends. Matthew was hoping that his papa was right. He gripped Kuma tighter as the bus stopped. He got off and went to the head counselor. The said councilor told him his cabin and he headed straight for it. When he got there, he saw his two cabin mates.

The first was a boy about a year older with tan skin and brown hair. He was talking to a boy who was an albino when they heard the door opened.

"Hi, I'm the awesome Gilbert and this is Lovi."

    "Loviato, it's Loviato.."

   "Anyway, nice to meet you.."

   "I'm Matthew Kirkland."

   "I'll call you Mattie."

Matthew blushed, he had just met this boy and he had already got a nickname for himself. He pulled his bear closer to him and the other boy came into the cabin. He hoped that he would get closer to these two boys and have a fun summer.

                                                                              (with Alfred)

Alfred was having fun with his own cabin mates: a boy from Russia named Ivan, and a boy from Japan named Kiku. They were eating their lunch when one of the camp councilors stated they would have a cabin vs. cabin fencing match, the cabin that won against the whole camp would have a pizza party for that cabin.

Alfred smiled and looked at his friends. He took lessons from Ludwig and his grandfather on fighting. One of those was fencing, so he knew he could beat anyone from the other cabins. He looked at his cabin mates.

   "We'll win."

Alfred didn't know that a few tables down, Matthew Kirkland told his friends that he was a great fencer also. He didn't know that the fencing he'd be doing would be the step of a plot that would shake up both their worlds.
