*Third Person POV*

A loud, ear-aching alarm sounds, it beeps for 30 seconds before a pale hand reaches to turn it off blindly. Emerson hits her hand on the machine a few times feeling for the 'stop' button
The 21-year-old shoves her head into her pillow letting out a tired groan before sitting up and yawning, Her hair laying crazily on her head. She stands up slowly thinking to herself 'Who decided it'd be a good idea to wake up at 6:00 am.' Then she remembered 'Oh yah criminals don't stop killing for anyone.'

She waddled into her kitchen and grabbed a mug from the cupboard. She smiled at her favorite mug, it had an Anakin Skywalker picture on the front. She admired his face for a moment before starting up her Keurig. She stuck a French vanilla coffee pod into the slot closing it with a satisfying click. The coffee machine roared as it started boiling. The new agent pushed her arms to the counter and pulled her body up to sit on it. She yawned again, covering her mouth, a bad habit she's had since she was an insecure kid.

The mug fills halfway, saving enough room for her cream and sugar to be poured in. She sipped her light brown coffee and sighed in happiness at the flavor. She opened her kitchen drawer and pulled out a red mug lid, she forced it down on top of the drink.

She hears her cell phone ring from the other room, she runs over to pick it up. She checks the caller's ID and it was an unknown number. She purses her lips, deciding whether or not she wants to answer it. She finally decided she should and clicks answer.

"Hello this is Agent Strauss, I'm the section chief of the Behavioral Analysis Unit of the FBI, do you have a minute." Emerson's mouth hangs open for a moment. "Hello?" Erin says on the other side of h the call, not hearing anything.

"Oh! Yeah sorry, yeah I have a second..." The girl gulps nervously.

"Agent Aaron Hotchner would like to meet with you today if that's alright?" Agent Strauss says.

"Yah of course! I'll see him when I'm at work." Erin replies with a thank you before hanging up.

Emerson wipes her hands on her pajama pants before realizing she should get dressed. She runs to her room almost tripping over her cat Jason. She smiles at the cat spewing a sorry at the cat, who looks at her annoyed.

Emerson tugs her drawer open, digging through her many pairs of slacks. She pulls out a pair of black flare ones and pulls down her pajama shorts, she rushes to her closet and grabs out a periwinkle vest and a white button-up shirt. She frowns at her pants choice and runs back to her drawer pulling out a pair of gray ones instead.

She again takes off her pants throwing them across the room and aiming for the hamper. The pants fly in effortlessly, as she tugs on the gray flare slacks. She then pulls on the top only buttoning the top button, as she is too lazy to button all of them. She tugs the periwinkle vest over top, and slides on her oxfords before running out of her room.

She grabs her coffee and her cell and puts her keys in her pocket before running out the door. She speed walks to her car, which she named Juniper, and unlocks it. She slides into the driver's seat and shoves the key into the ignition. The car roars to life, and she plugs in her seatbelt. Her hands shaking in excitement. She puts her covered mug Into the cup holder and pulls out of the parking spot.

The roads were almost silent, the only people on them were the folks heading to work or school. She turns her blinker on as she turns into the parking lot at Quantico.

She walks through the front doors, shows the front desk lady her Badge, and hops in the elevator. She clicks floor 3, the BAU's floor. The floor she's always dreamed of working on. The elevator rises slowly as Emerson taps her fingers impatiently. The door opens to the floor with a 'ding' and she walks out.

She is met with quiet chatter, as she looks around the hall. There are people walking around in offices, and other people at the coffee stand. She looks around the area in search of a tag that says 'Agent Hotchner.' On the front, though she doesn't see it. She looks around for the person closest to her. And it just so happens to be a tall, gangly man, who looks almost too young to be here. Not that she didn't also look too young to be there.

"Um, excuse me, sir." She says to the man in the argyle sweater vest. He looks up at her, almost shocked she talked to him.

"Y-yes?" He says, his voice is high-pitched.

"Could you maybe point me in the direction of Agent Hotchners office?" He nods and points over to a ramp.

"It's just up that ramp." He smiles awkwardly at her. He's clearly not a people person and is socially awkward. Emerson nods.

"Thank you so much!" She says waving and walking in the direction he told her to go. She walks up the ramp, and towards the man's office. She knocks lightly on the door.

"Come in!" A man shouts softly from the inside. The girl opens up the door.

"Hi sir, I was told you wanted to meet with me."

"Oh yes agent Usoro. Come take a seat." The man doesn't have a smile on his face, but his voice is welcoming. "I wanted to meet with you, about your position. I mean I've seen your work, you're amazing. I was wondering...if you'd like to join the BAU. Your other unit was alright with it, and so is Agent Strauss. It's up to you." Emerson sat on the soft leather couch, her mouth opened in shock. She nods her head vigorously.

"Yes! I mean yes sir that would be amazing." She coughs, and the man laughs lightly at the girl.

"Alright, you wanna start today?"

"Yes please."
