I was so nervous about talking to Robert. I finally decided on ambushing him after our shared History class.
I patiently waited for Mrs Gregory's lesson to be over so I could speak to Robert. He walked out with his friends and I carefully trailed behind.
"Robert? Have you got a sec?" I asked him, putting on a polite tone. He frowned, his friends laughing behind him. He glanced at his friends, gesturing at them to go. They shrugged and left. I sighed with relief. The last thing I needed was for Roberts friends to be hanging around. The conversation would be awkward enough without that."What do you want?" Robert asked, folding his arms over his chest as a sign that he didn't want to talk to me. If I had better options I wouldn't be here either, I thought to myself. "I need a favour. Can you come with me after school to a clinic? I just need to prove to myself that you are not carrying my child." He gasped. "What? Your pregnant? But.. we haven't.. since ages ago!!" I stiffened at his harsh tone. And his disgusted expression. I mean, I was the pregnant one, not him. "Yes. I remember. I was very very drunk." He rolled his eyes.
"Of course you were. Why do I need to go to this stupid clinic? I don't care." He said. I laughed humourlessly. "Of course you don't. I'm asking for 5 minutes of your extremely precious time to come to the clinic. You need to do one test, and that's it. I won't ask for anything if you are the father of course, but I doubt it." He sighed. "Fine. I'll meet you here after classes, and we can go to the fucking clinic. I swear, if I'm the father I'm going to be so fucking pissed, you have no idea..." I sighed. I doubt he would be more pissed than me. I would consider jumping off a cliff rather than giving birth to his evil devil spawn.
