Today I was going to talk to Zac. I hoped he already knew that I was pregnant, word spreads fast. I was quite nervous.
"Hey Zac." I said, smiling at Zac. His sandy blonde hair was combed back and he was wearing blue chinos with a cute white polo shirt. He looked at me strangely. "Hey Lily. How have you been?" He asked, glancing at my stomach. So he knew. "I wondered if you knew that I'm pregnant?" I asked. He visibly paled. "Yeah? Why? Why do I need to know?" I smiled. "It's just I don't know who the father is. I just need you to come to the clinic with me tonight to make sure your not the father. I'm sure your not, but we just need to check. Is that okay?" I asked. He paled some more. "So I could be the father?" I sighed, and nodded. "Yeah. I guess you could be. But, like, don't worry about it. I'm not going to ask you for anything. I am keeping this baby. But if you are the father then we'll I'd want to know. I'm sure you would too." He nodded, shaking slightly. "I have a girlfriend now, she's wonderful. Can we keep this a secret? I'd hate to ruin it because of some mistake I made like ages ago." I pursed my lips.
"Of course. Hopefully you won't be, your a nice guy." He grimaced. "Doesn't feel like it. But thanks for saying. I'll meet you here after school and we can go afterwards, I'll follow you in my car." He said. I smiled. "Okay. See you then."

We arrived early at the clinic. I was so nervous. I think Zac was too, I spotted the sweat dripping down the sides of his face. I had tried to keep him calm earlier, I tried to convince him that I didn't think he was the father, when in reality I had no idea.

"Don't panic. We will know soon enough." I said to Zac reassuringly. He attempted to smile. "I just don't want my life fucked up because of one stupid mistake, you know? Not worth it." I nodded. "How do you think I feel." I said sighing. Zac frowned. "Hmm. True." Denise came bustling out of her office, paper in her hands. We looked up, she smiled at us. "Come into my office, I have the results."

"Your not the father." She said, smiling kindly at Zac. So it was obvious he didn't want to be involved. His face lit up with relief, while mine sank. This meant there was a 50% chance it was Robert's. I shivered at the thought. No way was the child in my belly from that demon spawn.

"Thanks Lily. I mean, I'm glad it's over now." Zac muttered uncomfortably. I nodded as he pulled up in front of my house. "Thanks for being cool about all of this. Don't worry, I won't say anything to your girlfriend or anything." I stated. I wasn't that mean. He nodded, looking relieved. "I'll see you around. Take care." He said, waving awkwardly as he pulled away.

I think he would have made a good father.
