Her eyes bottle stretches of uncharted terrain - raw soil damp with the smell of fresh rain. Like smoky quartz melted into a pool of milk, her irises glow with a mischievous tinge. Gasps are not enough, neither are words. For in her eyes, I see a phoenix raised from cinder.
She is the glimmer of wood in blinding sunlight. Coffee stains stamped on frail love letters. Pull of quicksand on feeble feet. Fragrant swirl of chocolate chips. Shimmer and warmth of gold and heat.She is beauty, she is wrath. She is fire, she is ash.
With a heavy heart I turn, for there is no end to her praise, and if I could go on, I would sing her a hundred songs.
Hey, guys! I have seen a lot of people with brown eyes say that they wished they had blue or hazel ones, and it is easy to feel like that when brown eyes get so little appreciation in stories.
