Chapter 21

1st Person POV

* When the 15 minutes were up *

"Time is up!", Midnight announced. I tuned out Present Mic as he started talking. Everyone was in their starting locations and ready to start. 

My team had a total of 440 points, meaning we weren't going to be able to stay in the shadows completely like we wanted. It was obvious not everyone was going for the ten million. Some would lose interest after trying for a bit. 

We just have to try and  not draw attention to ourselves, and not give Present Mic a reason to draw attention to us.

 Present Mic startdown counting down to start the calvary battle. "Begin!", Midnight said.

Almost everyone went after Midoriya's team. They all saw how big the target on him was and didn't realise they had targets on them as well. 

"Let's start.", Hitoshi said and we started making our way towards the groups with lower points. We had didn't want to take from the teams with larger numbers because it would draw attention. "Who first?", I asked. 

"Any smaller teams so we have less people coming for us afterwards.", Hitoshi said and I nodded.

We were soon stealing bands from unsuspecting teams. Some were opurtunistic and some we had to plan. After only taking a few bands we knew we'd have enough to pass into the next round.

"Alright let's stay back and try not to be noticed.", Hitoshi said. 

"Alright. Most of the other teams got tired of Midoriya's team and are looking for other prey. Times almost up.", I stated.

Just a couple more minutes and we make it to the third round.

"Let's move, other teams are getting too close.", Hitoshi said and we moved away from other teams who had been getting slowly closer.

"So what are your plans for the third round?", I asked. "You know me N/n, I like to win before it even starts.", Hitoshi stated and flicked the back of my head. 

"What was that for? I was just making sure.", I told him. "I just felt like it.", Hitoshi said. I sighed witha small smirk.

He hasn't changed much.

I heard distant explosions and immediatly turned to put distance between my team and the explosions. 

"What are you doing?", Hitoshi asked. "As far as I know only Bakugo can make explosions. He's targeting Midoriya's team for sure and we need to stay as far away from them as we can.", I explained. 

"Alright but that means we're probably going to engage with the teams who've been following us.", Hitoshi stated.

"Let's try to avoid that. Do you see any open clearings where there aren't any teams near?", I asked.
