"Will you just shut up Malfoy!" Hermione exclaimed.

"Mudblood!" Draco muttered.

It had only been five minutes and they were already arguing. I was walking in between the 'two sides'. Honestly, this was frustrating and annoying.

"Can we all just get along for five minutes, please!" I exclaim.

"Agreed!" Ron exclaimed.

We walked in silence. Soon, we get to the Forbidden Forest. Harry goes over the plan. It was quickly thrown together and not very well thought out, but it's all we got. Now, all we have to do is find the River of Hope.

"I think we should spilt up," Ron suggested. "Evelynn and I will go this way!"

"Good idea," Harry agrees. "Hermione and I go this way and Malfoy you can go that way."

"Good, Malfoy can go by himself and maybe he'll get lost!" Hermione exclaimed.

Ron and I started to walk. It was awkward and I felt really bad for hurting him.

"You know you broke my heart, right?" Ron snapped.

"Ron, I don't know how many times I have to say I'm sorry. I feel horrible," I explained.

"Mudblood!" Ron exclaimed. "You filthy mudblood."

"How could you be so low Ron!" I yelled.

"You say I'm low! I'm not the one snogging with the enemy!" he fired back.

"It's not like I snogged Voldemort himself," I yelled.

"You might as well have! Malfoy works for him anyway!" He exclaimed.

"You don't know him like I do!" I yelled.

"I bet you know-" he started.

I screamed as I fall face first into a river. I was to busy fighting with Ron to realize where we were going. I sat up and wipe the water out of my eyes. Then, I stand up.

"Well, we found the river," I muttered.

Then, Harry, Hermione, and Draco came running over to where Ron and I were. I guess the river connects to all three ways we went.

"Are you okay, Evelynn?" Draco asked.

"She fell into a foot-deep river, she's fine!" Ron muttered.

"No one asked your opinion-," Draco started.

"I'm fine, thank you," I interrupted as Draco helps me up.

"Well, now that we found the river, we have to find the magical stone," Harry stated.

"I'm guessing it's the one over there,"Draco said.

He pointed at a podium made of marble that had a colorful stone floating on top. It was glowing and all the light seemed to be shinning on it. It was pretty hard to miss.

"You know that's the most useful thing you've said all day, Malfoy," Hermione joked.

"Haha, very funny," Draco muttered.

We walked over to the stone and stared at it. It was beautiful. None of us could take our eyes off of it. I felt as if the stone had some sort of power that made us so intrigued.

"Guys, something isn't right about this stone," Harry cautioned as he backed away.

"I have the same feeling," I agreed.

I backed away too. When I stepped back I noticed a force field began to form around Hermione, Ron, and Draco. They seemed to be under a spell.

"Wait! I know this enchantment!"Harry explained.. "The stone is under an spell and everyone who gets in that force field is under that enchantment."

"What does the enchantment do?" I asked.

"It makes you not yourself. It's hard to tell right now, but you can become greedy, selfish, possessive, hostile, bitter, or malicious," he explained.

"Just by looking into the stone?" I asked.

"Yes," Harry replied. "I was reading a study about enchantment and apparently if you take frog spit and mix it with-"

"Uh, Harry," I interrupted.

"What?" he asked.

"We have a problem," I explained pointing at our friends.

Harry notices what I'm pointing at and begins to panic. Hermione, Ron, and Draco were trying to kill each other! Harry and I try to get back into the bubble, but it wouldn't let us back through. We tried magic, but that just came right back at us.

"We have to do something before they kill each other!" I exclaimed.

"Got a plan?" Harry asked.

"No..,but I do have an idea," I explained.

"Well, don't just stand there! What is it?" He asked.

I took off running through the forest. Harry chased after me, yelling at me to tell him what I was doing. There was a clearing at the end of the forest...where the river fairies lived.

I came out of the forest and down the hill where the river fairies were.

"Evelynn? Is that you?" One of the fairies asked.

Her name was Faith. She was shorter and younger than me. She has curly blonde hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a loose light pink sundress, but not wearing any shoes. She had a basket full of rocks, because she collected river rocks. I met her on my first night at Hogwarts, when I had a nightmare. She was out picking rocks and comforted me while I cried.

"I need a favor," I explained. "Do you know about the stone near the River of Hope?"

"The stone of Aplistía?" Faith asked.

"The stone of what?" Harry asked.

"Apilstía-it means greed in Greek," Faith explained.

"Oh, well can you help us get our friends un-trapped from it?" I asked.

"I'll see what I can do," she agreed.

We ran back to the forest and found the river. Ron and Draco were throwing punches at each other and Hermione was choking Ron.

First, Faith undid the force field. Then, she snapped her fingers and they stopped fighting. Faith went over and grabbed the stone. She put it in my hand and went back down to the river.

"Well, that was easy," Draco said

"Says the one who did absolutely nothing," I joked.

"Well, at least we got the stone," Harry pointed out.
