Fragmented Torch

Rising and falling like the waves of the ocean;

Coming together in one motion.

Imploding heat and exploding in smoky dust like that of a volcano;

Helpfully hurting what's around.

Idly sitting by as a crumbling statue with vines like when nature spreads;

Holding onto the last straws of sanity.

A damaged unlit torch sits in front of two like they're lost to darkness;

United by pure touch of one another.

Path to victory only begins with a torch fixed in company;

Realizing Pain, Love, and Justice, only to fear the painful weight.

One may outweigh two without strength and clarity;

A tightened clasp within one's grasp will pave the way.

Bonding through immense feelings of concerned times;

Back one but forward two without shattered knowledge.

Each holding their burning lights to mesh together;

Forever together as true selves to one another.
