"Are you sure?" You protested, furrowing your eyebrows towards his advice as you looked down at your textbook. "Why would you know more than Jimin and Jin?"
"I'm not saying I know more," Namjoon corrected, leaning back in his swivel chair as he focused in on the code he was typing on his computer. "I'm saying you might have misunderstood what they said and made a small math error."
You grumbled under your breath and looked closer at Namjoon's homework in order to compare it to yours. Unfortunately, it seemed as if he was right.
"Dang it," You spoke with a sigh, bringing an eraser down to your paper and wincing knowing you'd have to redo the problem.
"That's all you need from me, right?" Namjoon spoke rather rudely without turning to look at you, "So... you can leave now?"
You gaped towards him but clenched your mouth shut in order to rise off of his apartment floor and clutch your notebook to your chest.
"So sorry to have intruded!" You spat, marching towards the hole in his wall that you had once accidently kicked in. Neither of you had gotten around to having it fixed yet, so it acted as a door way for you to freely enter his apartment whenever you pleased.
The downside of the hole was that as thin as the walls had been before, now there was little to no privacy between the two of you.
You always knew what each other were watching or listening to. You could hear him all the time, and to be honest, at times you were scared.
He was a young male in college after all. You didn't want to hear him... with someone else... or... watching... something...
The hole in the wall had eventually driven the two of you to the point where you almost strangled each other, and a mature pact had eventually been made.
It was a piece of paper that you had copied for both you and him with signatures at the bottom. It listed a set of agreements you had both written for each other.
Namjoon had made sure to put on your list that whenever you watched dramas you refrain from crying your eyes out. He also apparently didn't want you to sing in the shower or blast your quote on quote, "trash music."
You as well pointed out that he should keep his music quiet or wear headphones. Although it was embarrassing, you caved into writing your fears on the list as well. He had to swear not to watch pornography or engage in any sort of... um... activity while you were in listening distance.
Namjoon raised an eyebrow your way after reading your terms of agreement, but you had stayed firm in fighting past embarrassment. You didn't need to hear any of that and didn't care how weird it had been to bring it up.
He tisked and smirked, but had eventually signed his name at the bottom next to yours.
Now somehow the two of you had grown accustomed to having so little privacy. You still fought like cats and dogs, but you were tolerant in the fact that Namjoon was so close all the time.
Things could be worse. You could have had to pay a 200 dollar repair.
You were just thankful he never sued you. Well, he hadn't yet at least.
You stormed your way over to crawl back into your room, but suddenly paused in realization.
Moving back to where you were behind him, you peered at Namjoon's screen and leaned over his shoulder to get a better look.
"Hey wait, what are you doing?" You spoke up in sudden anxiety. You had almost overlooked it, but Namjoon appeared to be doing work. Because you and he shared every class, whatever school work he was working on also applied to you. Meaning this could be an assignment you were also supposed to be working on.
