You tapped the eraser of your pencil on the desk in front of you in overwhelming anxiety. Chewing on your lower lip, you tried to ignore the dark presence behind you that glared daggers into the back of your head.

You stiffened and breathed out, trying to focus on the professor and not the guy behind you.

You weren't known for paying amazing attention in class, but right then you did your best to act as invested as you could in the lesson as your hands shook while you sloppily replicated the notes on transistors into your notebook.

It wasn't fair. How were you expected to ever graduate when you had to deal with him all the time?! It was odd; it seemed as if the harder you tried to get away from him, the closer you were forced together.

Sure the two of you had the same degree, but having all of the same classes?! That meant you had to see him almost constantly.

This him that you kept thinking about in such a negative light was of course the one and only widely known "genius" Kim Namjoon.

Your next door neighbor. Your competition. Your frienemy.

Also the guy who probably wanted to kill you.

Against your better judgment, you slowly took a peek behind you. Just as you had suspected, Namjoon was glaring at you.

He wasn't taking notes, probably because he had read up on the lesson the night before. Or because he had already finished the example the professor was halfway through teaching.

Namjoon's silver hair was parted against his forehead and your eyes trailed down to his half-slitted and clearly irritated dark orbs. His skin held a tan complexion and his features were very strong and masculine. It didn't help you feel secure right then, so you instead focused on his dimples that were always present against his cheeks.

They were cute but didn't seem to match the current vibe he was trying to portray.

He bit on the inside of his cheek and slowly leaned back to cross his arms while arching an eyebrow in acknowledgment of your fearful staring.

You swallowed hard and slowly turned back around with a tremble to your spine.

You were so dead.

Knowing there wasn't much time left in the lesson, your eyes darted across the room in a panicked sort of way. You needed help, and fast.

You naturally looked to your right in order to attempt making eye contact with the two most well known and talented electrical students.

Jung Hoseok and Min Yoongi were the unstoppable duo in the EET major. Although seemingly complete opposites, they were best friends and extremely talented in what they did.

Min Yoongi was the sleepy guy who spoke as little as possible. From afar, some might say he was lazy. That certainly wasn't the case. Yoongi was passionate in every sense and worked harder than anyone you knew.

He was tired all the time due of his bad habit of staying up late and coding. Working hard into the night in front of a screen wasn't healthy, but in return Min Yoongi was most likely the best coder in the entire university.

There was nothing he couldn't do when put in front of a computer. He knew multiple coding languages and could take on anything by simply typing away at his keyboard.

Jung Hoseok was the guy with the sunny personality and the brightest smile. He lit up the room constantly with just his presence, and he was always there to help someone out or make someone's day better.

He would help you, wouldn't he?

You desperately attempted to make eye contact with Hoseok, but unfortunately he was seemingly extremely invested in the lesson. But of course he was.
