Star is spread out on her bed, staring up at the tapestry above her bed, bored out of her mind. Lucifer was curled on her stomach. The little purrs were soothing.

Mary walks up to her, smiling. "What." Star asks "You and Remus? Do you like him?" Mary ask

Star's eyebrows furrow in confusion. "What?! No, he's a complete asshole!" Star says, annoyed. "I mean come on, you guys are at each other's throats 24/7, you guys have chemistry." Mary says, waving her hands around.

Star cringes. "Hell no, he freaking smells like a wet dog." Star says with a shudder.

At the word dog, Lucifer yowls in anger, hissing at Mary, making the girl flinch.

"Maybe you could try and look over that, I mean you guys would be hot. I mean did you see his scars." Mary says

Star chuckles, yeah should could admit it, Remus was very attractive, he actually had a cute smile, but she would never sleep with a werewolf.

"It's not going to happen Mary." Star says

"Awww please, I want this to work." Mary says "Why? Why do you want me to sleep with Remus." Star ask

Mary sighs and she sits down on the corner of Stars bed. "Star, you've been unattached for 6 years, you never stayed in a relationship longer than two weeks. I want you to be happy." Mary says

"But I am happy, I'm not Molly, I don't need someone, yes she's very lucky and I love my little godson. But I don't need to fall in love and have kids." Star says

Star did want to have a relationship, one day, she wanted that strong and messy love, but it would never happen for her.

She's going to stop aging in a few months and that's going to be it for her. She's going to have a miserable life, all alone.

She's going to outlive her own twin.

Mary softens. She's not going to push her, Star scares easily when it comes to her love life.

None of her friends know that she's a vampire, only Lily knows, and she doesn't look at her any differently.

Star already has a sad fate, she doesn't need a heartbreak.

"Fine, I'll leave it alone, but at least consider it, maybe try being nice to him." Mary says

"He just rubs me in the wrong way, but I'll try to be nice and all that crap, but if he comes at me in any way, I will attack back." Star says

Mary cheers, fist bumping the air. Star chuckles.

Lucifer purrs louder, trying to gain Stars attention. "You have a very needy cat, you know that." Mary says, walking off.

Star smiles and she brings the cat closer to her chest.

Star's eyes flutter closed, falling asleep.

The next day in History of Magic.

Star enters the class, sadly she has no one she likes in this class. "Hey Star, come over here." Malfoy calls out.

Star makes a face. Yeah that isn't happening. Star looks for an open seat and she sees one beside Remus and sighs.

Might as well start now.

Star plants herself besides the werewolf, resting her legs on the table. Remus glares.

Star sends him a smirk. "Hey." Star purrs

Remus's top lip lifts in a sneer. Rolling his eyes, he crosses his arms and turns away from Star.

Star stops herself from rolling her eyes. Play it nice, Star reminds herself.

"So what do you do for fun." Star ask, which was hard for her to do. Remus stiffens, shocked.

Star doesn't stop herself from rolling her eyes this time. Yeah, she's being civil, shocking! Note the sarcasm.

Remus notices the expectant look of Stars face and he holds back a groan. "I like going to the library. It's quiet." Remus says

He doesn't really know how to answer that question.

Star swallows harshly, this was a lot harder than she thought. Star really wants to like him, but who in the hell likes going to the library, it smells like old ladies' feet.

Don't get her wrong she loves a good book, but the smell was overwhelming for the vampire.

Her nose was stronger than the average person and she assumed it would be the same for a werewolf.

"Okay that's a start." Star says

Remus looks at her confused. Star sighs. "Mary practically said I was being a total bitch towards you, so I'm trying very hard to be....nice." Star says

She practically spat out the word nice.

Remus purses his lips. "I would like to be civil but you just rub me the wrong way. I personally don't like you." Remus says

Star rolls her eyes. "It's not about liking you, I really don't trust me on that. I just don't want our hatered to affect our friends." Star says

Remus sighs. "I'll make you a deal, I'll act civil in front of our friends but that's where it stops, you don't have to try to be my friend, because I don't want to be your friend." Remus says

"Deal." Star says "Should we shake on it." Remus asks "I don't want to touch you, this is a verbal agreement." Star says

Remus nods, agreeing.
