My curse.
Nobodies POV
When I was attacked at the ripe age of two, that was the day my world ended. And it destroyed my parents.
Some would say I was lucky it happened at an age where I wouldn't even remember.
But I remember everything.....
....
Flashback.
Newt Scamander had came back home from a long day of handling dragons.
His wife Tina comes skipping towards him with a wide smile. "What's with the smile." Newt ask, his lips involuntary spreading into an answering smile.
His wife looked beautiful when she was happy.
"Our little girl had said her first word." Tina says "what! Oh Merlin that is fantastic, I mean I was getting a little worried, it's been a year and Jack had already said his first word. What did she say!" Newt asking
Both we're towards the twins room, when suddenly they hear a shriek, making them fall into a sprint, hearts pounding, blooding rushing.
The sight before them was horrifying, a tall dark man stood over Star, a wicked grin on his lips, his teeth gleaming in the moonlight.
Star had deep puncture wounds on her tiny wrist, tears filling her eyes.
"Mama." Star shrieks
Her first words, tore her parents hearts in half. Tina yells out, grabbing her wand and with her hatred boasting her she yells out the killing curse.
"Avada Kedavra." Tina yells
Instantly the vampires body falls, with Star going down as well. Quickly Newt moves forward and catches his daughter before she gains further injury.
"Grab Jack we can't be here." Newt demands
They don't know if there were more lurking about.
....
The Scamander family ran out of their home and appart to Hogwarts.
They know they should've gone to the authorities but Star was bitten by a vampire and they know what they will do to her. They needed Dumbledore.
"What's going to happen to Star." Tina breaths as they run through the halls of the castle, trying to reach Dumbledores office.
"I don't know but Dumbledore might have answers." Newt says
His daughter was startling silent in his arms, her breathing shallow.
....
Dumbledore looks up in surprise as the Scamander family burst through his doors. "Newt, Tina." Dumbledore says in surprise
"Albus it's out daughter." Newt breaths
....
In the infirmary.
Dumbledore was waving his wand over Star's unmoving form. "There....the best I could do is progress her aging until her eighteenth birthday. She will have a normal childhood." Dumbledore says
"Oh thank you Albus, I am forever in your debt." Tina breaths
"I wish there was more that we could do but a cure has never been heard of. I am truly sorry for what has transpired tonight." Dumbledore says
Newt nods, thanking him.
The mother and father sit at their daughters side, with a sleeping Jack in Tina's lap.
"Why did this happen." Newt ask "I don't know, everything was fine, she said her first word and when I heard you come home, I put her to her bed. She was fine....oh Merlin I am a terrible mother." Tina sobs
"No no Tina, this is not on you. Do not blame yourself. Our daughter is alive, that is all that matters." Newt says
"But to live with this curse." Tina says
"Our daughter has two of the most loving parents to have ever existed, she will be loved and she will be happy. We will prepare her for what is to happen but she will survive this." Newt says
Flashback ends.

I don't know if I will survive this....I mean mother was right....it was a curse....to live an eternity....all alone.
