On June 3, 89,982, Lieutenant Colonel Bradley Lencon, Grand Admiral Christopher Lencon who had been promoted two month earlier, Captain Jonathan Lencon, Lieutenant William Lencon and Ensign Brad Lencon and the other command officers onboard Amderesta 1 ASC-1737-J sat around the conference table in the briefing room which had a large hull breech sealed by an emergency forcefield to discuss their current status. Amderesta 1's docking bay, and engineering section were damaged as well.

“The atmospheric generators for the docking bay's space doors were damaged in the attack a week ago.” Captain Jonathan Lencon said to the others as he activated a holographic schematic of Amderesta 1 ASC-1737-J's interior which showed the current state of the vessel. The docking control system is damaged. In other words, anyone conducting sorties would have to pilot the shuttle in themselves and that isn't easy even when you're not under fire.”

Ensign Michael Warrens who was now more or less now Amderesta 1's Chief Engineering Officer entered the briefing room along with the current status from the damage substained to the hyperlight reactor, sublight reactor, auxillary power reactor and shield generator. Since the intercom system onboard Amderesta 1 only worked in certain areas of the ship, all 500 Amderestan Spacefleet Corps officers and enlisted personnel had Video-Audio Commumication Screens on them at all times.

Amderesta 1's Chief Medical Officer Lieutenant Commander John Brains, Assistant Chief Medical Officer Lieutenant Redans, and Deputy Chief Medical Officer Ensign John Williams and several other medical officers and enlisted personnel had turned the mess hall into a makeshift triage facility as sickbay was filled to compacicity with the officers and enlisted who had been wounded during the previous four month engagement against the Amderestan Army Republic Military forces.

By now a full-scale border conflict had more or less flared up along the Amderestan-Army Republic-Third Amderestan Republic border which ran through the center of the East Central Swearia Region District and the West Central Swearia Region District. 100 Amderestan Spacefleet Corps, Amderestan Army and Amderestan Combat Assault Groups which seperated into 120 vessel Combat Assault Fleets were engaged in a series of attacks against the roughly the same number of Amderestan Army Republic Combat Assault Fleets.

On Crescent, President Bradson sat in his office on the fifteen floor of the executive building and read over several intelligence reports sent to him via the Amderestan Region Amderestan Military Field Command Headqaurters. The intelligence reports detailed the current status of combat engagements along the Amderestan Army Republic-Third Amderestan Republic border.

At Amderestan Spacefleet Corps Academy's campus located several blocks from Crescent City's government district in which the Executive Building, Senate building, Defense Ministry building, State Ministry building, Treasuary Ministry building, Transportation Ministry, Commerce Ministry, Amderestan Military Headqaurters, and other government buildings were located, Cadet Jack Forrester and Cadet Jack Vellans made their way to a couple of training shuttles on a landing platform along with other Amderestan Spacefleet Corps Cadets involved in combat flight training.

“Cadets.” Commander Thomas said. “If you can see behind me, there are several shuttles used for combat training against simulated ground targets. You will also be learning aerial combat technics as well. Cadet Vellans, and Cadet Forrester. You two will be our first volunteers.

Cadet Jack Forrester and Cadet Jack Vellans stepped out from the crowd of Amderestan Spacefleet Corps Cadets and followed Commander Thomas to a couple of training shuttles equipped with low power blaster turrents, missiles and torpedeos which had dummy warheads.

“You've fought in aerial dogfights against simulated shuttles and transports in simulated shuttles and transports. Now, you'll be using the real thing.” Commander Thomas told Cadet Jack Forrester, Cadet Jack Vellans and the other Amderestan Spacefleet Corps cadets. “Normally a shuttle as you all aware is run by a commanding officer, executive officer, pilot, weapon control officer, communication officer and scanner officer. But there will be times you'll need to do all this by yourself. Each of you will be piloting one of these shuttles.”
