It was just another beautiful day. The school halls were empty. The reason being because everyone was in class. You and Sadalia where in math class. The teacher a troll named Mr Whitney was up in front of the class talking. While you and Sadalia were passing notes to each other. Sadalia wrote on the paper and handed it to you. It said
Sadalia 'So are you going to the fall dance or what?'
You looked up to make sure Mr Whitney wasn't looking over at you and wrote down your response and quickly handed it to Sadalia. It's a good thing you two sat in the back.
You 'Yeah I'm going! Do you think I could ask Ian to go?'
You waited for Sadalia to write down her response. She knows about your crush on Ian. Ever since the two of you met doing freshman year. You had told her a couple weeks ago about it. She passed the note back to you. Making sure Mr Whitney wasn't watching you read the note.
Sadalia 'Yeah I don't think that's a good idea'
You were confused. Why not?
You 'Why not?'
You handed the note to her and watched her write her response.
Sadalia 'Well I didn't want to tell you this but. I told Ian about your crush on him and asked if he liked you back. He laughed and asked "why would I like her/him?"
You were shocked. Was this true? You looked over at Sadalia. Who had apologetic look on her face. You fought back the tears in your eyes. Lucky for you it was the end of the school day the school bell rung and you grabbed your stuff and ran off. The second you left Sadalia formed an evil smile on her face. You were about to leave the school when you came across the one person you didn't want to talk to.
Ian: Oh! Hey Y/n! What's wrong?
You didn't answer. You push past him and run out. Only while you did you dropped the note you and Sadalia were passing. Ian picked it up and read it.
Ian: (This is Y/n and Sadalia's handwriting. But I never said that) Oh no!
Ian ran through the halls trying to find Sadalia. He found her in the gym with the cheerleaders
Ian: Sadalia!!
Sadalia looked over at him. She didn't expect to see him today.
Sadalia: Oh! Hey Ian! Nice to see you today. What's brings you here!
Ian held up the note and Sadalia's smile immediately fell.
Sadalia: I.... I can explain
Ian: No I get it! You got jealous and told Y/n I didn't like her! That was low Sadalia! I never expected that from you!
Sadalia: Ian... I.. I'm sorry
Ian left after that. He needed to talk to Y/n.
At Your House
You sat on your front porch. The sun was setting. Your mom would want you back in soon. But you couldn't bring yourself to move. Not after what happened today.
Mom: Y/n!! Time for dinner!
You sigh. Before forcing yourself to sit up. Just then a orange van with a Peagus on it pulled up and Ian ran out.
Barley: GO GET HER! DEAR BROTHER!
Ian: Ok Barley I got this! Ok here we go. Y/n!
Ian came up to you on the porch.
Ian: Look I know about the note and Sadalia. I'm really sorry about that.
You: Wait what do you mean? Why are you here Ian?
Ian: I..... Well it's not true Y/n. What she said. I actually really do like you. For quite a while now. (Laughs nervously)
You: Really!
Ian: Yeah I do
Before you two could do anything a honking was heard
Barley: I don't mean to interrupt this! But mom just texted me and she wants us home soon!
Ian: Oh right! I'm coming!
Ian ran down the porch steps but stopped at the bottom and looked back at you.
Ian: By the way yeah I would love to go to the fall dance with you
You smiled. Ian got in Guinevere 2.0 and drove off.
You: Mom! Your not gonna believe what just happened!
You ran inside to tell your mom the great news
