The New Beginning - The Story of Ross and Rachel

The One With The Honeymoon

Rachel woke up the morning after their wedding day with the biggest smile in her face. She looked around to find Ross, but he's nowhere to be seen. Suddenly the door opened, it was Ross, he brought a tray of freshly made pancake and a glass of orange juice.

"Good morning sleepyhead." He smiled at her

"Good morning, you." She smiled back

"Wow a breakfast in bed. Impressive." She continued

"Well this is one of the perks being my wife." Ross joked.

She then thanked and kissed him.

Ross handed an envelope to Rachel.

"I have another surprise for you." He said.

"What is this?" She smiled as she opened the envelope.

"Oh my gosh, airplane ticket to Paris?" She asked

"Yes, we haven't exactly talk about the honeymoon so I figured since you didn't make it to Paris the last time, this time we'll go there. We're leaving next week."

She pulled his body and gave him a kiss.

"Thank you. I love it" she smiled.

One week later at The Green Geller apartment, Rachel and Ross were packing their luggage as they will leave the next day. They will go to Paris for a week while Emma will be at Ross' parents. Even though it's not the first time they'll leave Emma at her grandparent's, Rachel was feeling uneasy to leave her daughter this long.

"Are you sure we can leave Emma? Can we just bring her to Paris?" Rachel asked

"Don't worry, my parents already have an entire week planned for Emma. They're so excited to introduce Emma to their friends. You know how cute Emma is, she's very famous amongst their friends. Everyone wants Emma to become their granddaughter-in-law." He joked as he tried to make Rachel feel better.

"I know... It's just. I think I miss her already." She frowned

Ross hugged him and patted her hair

"I know it's hard, but if Emma come with us she'll be exhausted. It's better for her to stay here than traveling for hours in the plane."

She lift her head and looked at Ross

"You're right. It's our honeymoon after all. Thank you for making me feel better" she smiled at him

"Anytime" he kissed her

Ross and Rachel dropped Emma at Ross' parents later that night and after a long good bye they went home. They went to sleep early today because they will have the earliest flight to Paris tomorrow. And finally today is the day they will go to Paris.

"Okay, I've got our passports, boarding tickets, our luggage and our carry-on. I think I'm done" Rachel mumbled to herself

"Okay the cab is waiting downstairs, are you ready Rach?"

"Okay let's go."

They went to the cab straight to the JFK airport. They went to the check-in counter and waited for the plane to board.

"So where do you wanna go first as soon as we arrive in Paris? I'm thinking about a museum tour. First we'll go to Louvre Museum, and then maybe to the Rodin Museum afterwards and then -"

"I hope we're not just going to museum after museum for the entire week." She interrupted

"I do managed to book us to this Michelin star restaurant for tomorrow night." He said proudly

"How can you do that? I thought we have to reserve it months before."

"Well I might have called Mark and asked for a favor." He replied

She raised her eyebrows, confused

"Mark? Didn't you hate him?" She asked

"Well it turns out he's quite nice." He chuckled

"I told you he's a nice guy, you wouldn't believe me."

"Well I believe you now." He said as he kissed her in the cheeks.

"Well.. thank you. I really appreciate it." She smiled.

After an hour waiting, the plane finally took off. They spent their entire flight talking and cuddling and finally after roughly eight hours their plane landed in Paris, France. They took a cab to their hotel and after a long exhausting day they finally arrived at their room. The hotel room was filled with roses and chocolates as requested by Ross. The view was amazing. As soon you open the window you can see The Eiffel Tower closely.

Rachel dropped her purse in awe.

She faced Ross as she asked him.

"This is beautiful. You asked them to do this for me?"

He then nodded and smile

"You like it?" He asked

"I LOVE it. And I Love You" she kissed him

She held his hands and swing it slowly

"I can't believe you did this. Since you're being really sweet, I'll do the same for you. I brought the black lingerie you love and I'm going to wear it tonight." She teased him and smiled.

"Wow, I should do this more often." He giggled.

They spent the rest of the day in their honeymoon suite. Not a single step outside the room.

Today is their last day in Paris, they will fly back to New York tomorrow morning. So far both Ross and Rachel already full filled their wishlist. Both of them visited museums as Ross wished and Rachel finally in her happy place, she's in the capital city of fashion, she bought a lot of branded clothes that she always wanted. They decided to spend their last day in Paris waking up late, relaxing, and walking around the neighborhood. It is 9 AM now in Paris. The sun shining through the blinds woke Ross and Rachel up.

"Last night was amazing" Rachel smiled

He kissed her and smile

"You are amazing"

"I don't want to leave the bed, it's so comfy." She whined

"I can carry you to the bathroom if you want."

"I doubt you still able to carry me like you used to."

"I'll prove it to you."

Ross picked Rachel up and took her to the bathroom. They went for a long long shower and having a brunch to the nearby cafe right after. Right across their table there is this family, a couple with two kids, the eldest is probably five and the youngest is around Emma's age. Rachel was looking at them the whole time.

"Uhh.. I miss Emma." She said

"I miss her too. I just got off the phone with my mom this morning, my mom said she was looking for us." He replied

"Awww.. I can't wait to see her again.. She's getting bigger these days. I was surprised to found out some of her clothes doesn't fit anymore. I just bought it a few months ago."

"I know. That's exactly what I thought when Ben was around Emma's age. Babies grow really fast."

"Ross.." She looked at him and held his hand

"Yeah?"

"I think I'm ready."

"Ready for what Rach?"

"To have another baby" she replied

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, I noticed sometimes when Ben wasn't around Emma looks very lonely. It will be nice to have a sibling with a small age gap."

"Okay, let's start to try right now." He smiled as he stood up, held her arm, and went back to the hotel.
