The One Where They Go To A Dinner With Ross's Ex

It is Christmas morning in Green Geller Apartment. They decorated the house with lots of Christmas lights and ornaments. There is this giant Christmas tree that almost hit the apartment's ceilings, decorated in red, green, and gold ornaments. They placed down the tree two weeks ago. Sure, it wasn't perfect as Monica's, but they are very proud of their first Christmas tree together, as Rachel, Ross, Ben, and Emma personally decorated it. Sadly, this year Ben wasn't around during Christmas. But they make sure to sent him presents through mails. Ross and Rachel were cuddling in bed when their daughter opened the door and jumped around their bed.

"Mommy, Daddy! Wake up! It's Christmas!" Emma yelled joyfully
They giggled at the sight of their daughter.

"Look at her, can't you believe we made that?" Rachel said

"Well, we also made this." Ross placed his hands on her bumps, and continued,

"And I have to say, we did an excellent job on it."

They giggled

"Come on mommy!!!" Emma pulled Rachel's arms

"Alright, Alright. Let's open up your presents."

The tree of them headed to the living room and sat under the Christmas tree as Ross started to hand Emma her presents one by one. She was very thrilled this morning, well actually she had tried to open her presents a week before, right after they put it under the Christmas tree. The two year old started to open her presents. She got a lot of presents this year. Her parents, Ross and Rachel gave her a series of children's encyclopedias as Ross insisted to, and a pair of new shoes that Rachel chose. Ross's parents bought her a big fluffy unicorn plushie. Rachel's parents gave her a pink and purple doll house. Aunt Monica and Uncle Chandler bought her a barbie doll. Aunt Phoebe and Uncle Mike made her a handmade doll and a tape containing a song that they wrote for her. And lastly, her uncle Joey sent her an Elmo doll. As soon as she finished opening her presents she started to play with them. She couldn't be any happier today.

Ross then handed Rachel her present.

"This is for you. Merry Christmas." He said as he handed her the present

"Aww. Thank you so much." She kissed him in the lips.

Rachel then opened the present. As soon as she took a look inside, she was in awe.

"Oh my Gosh..Ross.. This is the necklace I always wanted, isn't it? This is too much, you don't have to." She said as she looked at him

He then took the necklace, and put it around her neck.

"Here. It looks gorgeous on you." He smiled

"But, this cost you a fortune.." she mumbled

Ross may be cheap sometimes, but when it come to his family, especially Rachel, Ben, and Emma he wouldn't hesitate to spend his money. Besides, his cheapness actually made his savings bigger than average people at his age. In fact, it is his savings that got them a car, the honeymoon to Paris, and all the money they needed for the new apartment. Meanwhile, the wedding was funded by their parents, well, mostly by Rachel's dad, as he insisted on having a lavish wedding for his favorite daughter. Well of course, Rachel also pitched in, but she surely love to spend her money on shopping instead of saving it. After they got married, she is in charge on doing the shopping for the three of them. She enjoyed dressing Emma and choosing clothes for Ross. Well, actually, Ross would be in shock if he knew how much the shirt he's wearing cost them.
