It felt weird having all eyes on me like the girls will give me snobby looks well some other gave off good vibes, some of the guys just stared at me it felt weird, I found an empty seat next a girl with long brown hair, I didn't really say anything maybe she's just as rude as the girl Pansy I stayed seated and watch as Professor Magonagall finished with the first year sorting, "Hi I'm Athena" the girl seated next to me said with a small smile "Oh hi I'm RoseAngeline but you can call me Angeline" I said with a smile, I'm glad she's not like the Pansy "Has anyone ever told you how pretty you are?, Im in love with your hair" she looked at me in awe "No your so sweet, I really just let my curls come out today" I replied, I love this girl.
"Athena, your not gonna introduce us your new friend?" I heard someone say, it was the same guy from the train, Blaise, "I don't think i want to Zabini wouldn't want her to be badly influenced by you and your little group" Athena replied with a disgust face, "Oh now who said were bad influence" Blaise replied laughing with two other guys one which had his faced stuffed with mash potatoes, "Come Crabbe don't be such a pig show some manners" the platinum blonde spoke this time looking at the boy with the face full of mash potatoes, "Honestly Athena you can't not introduce us, I mean were in the same house we'll see each other soon" he winked at me, before I could even reply dinner was over and everyone started piling out of the great hall.
"Dont listen to them, they truly are bad business trust me" Athena told me while leading me to I suppose where are common room was, the dungeons, "Okay in order to get in the common room and dorm you have to know the password if not you'll be locked out until you see someone go in, the password changes every two weeks so you'll have to on the look out for the notice board" she explained and went on to whisper pure-blood and the wall opened.
"Who are they, the boys in the great hall" I questioned I was truly curious and why did she say they were bad news. "Well the tall one is Blaise very cocky very rude very prejudiced about blood status, the two other are Draco Malfoys little minions, they're always by his side and they always do whatever he tells them to do, Crabbe was the shorter chubbier one face stuffed with mash potatoes and the other one is Goyle, I call the twiddle and tweedle dum" she explains while laughing at the end, were now sitting on the floor in front of the fire In the common room.
The common room was gorgeous although it was in the dungeon the green undertones and dark furniture really made everything elegant, I loved the windows that allowed you to see the lake well underwater in the lake, everything was just soo beautiful. I was pulled away from my trance as Athena kept explaining, "Then there's Pansy, she's like in love with Draco, I feel like they have a thing for each other but they never make it official" she shrugs, "okay you keep talking about this Malfoy kid like I know him, who is he" I asked kinda loud, she puts a finger to her mouth signaling me to be quiet and looks up, I look behind me and see Draco and his two minions walk in the common room and sit on the couch in front of us, smirking down at us.
"Told you that you can't avoid us" he said looking at the boys and laughing and then looking back down and looking at me, "come on Angie ill show you the dormitory hopefully our beds are close together" Athena didn't pay no attention to what he said and just glared at him as we walked away I kept looking back at Draco who winked at me while I gave him a small smile.
As we enter the girls dorm I was in awe all over again it was huge, everything looked straight out of a fairy tail, from the giant four poster beds fit for a princess, the room was soo big that 8 beds fit I see Flora laying on the bed in the middle of two giant windows giving view to the beautiful depth of the lake."Sad I'm all across the room from you we won't be able to talk at night" Athena said with a pout, "I could always come over or you can always come over and we can talk until late night" I said laughing.
I was a little glad that my bed was far apart from everyones, since the large floor to ceiling windows separated me from everyone,"Okay come on tell me more from what we were talking about, before Draco interrupted" I said sitting on my bed picking Flora up ad setting her on my lap, Athena walked over after setting her owl down in its cage, "Okay I explained everyone but our very own Slytherin Prince Draco Malfoy" I looked at her confused "Slytherin Prince?"
"Yeah its a name we have for him since his family is basically like royalty I guess I never knew the exact reason why, anyways his dad was suspected to be a death eater, work with you know who" she explained I just nodded along "Who's you know who" I say still confused,"What!, you don't know who's Voldemort?" She asked surprised "He's the dark lord, he attempted to kill Harry Potter the kid with the scar on his head, he's obsessed with blood purity, to him if your no pureblood your disgusting to him he'd kill u in an instant'' she explained even further, "see me I am terrified of even thinking about him give the fact that I'm a half blood" she looked down for a second and then back up "are any of your parents muggle born"she asked curiously, "actually no both my parents come from a long line of witches and wizards" I replied smiling sweetly "but i swear i don't really have much care about blood status" i said making it clear seeing her smile.
"Ugh I already don't like you, and on top of that you get the new bed? I really don't get it" I see Pansy at the edge of my bed with her hands crossed "Im already hating this semester" she rolled her eyes and walked away, "ignore her" Athena said standing up, I stood up also and grabbed everything and started unpacking, setting my uniform for tomorrow at the edge of my bed as I finished unpacking everything I grab my toiletries and head to the bathroom to take a shower and change to more relaxed and comfortable clothing.
I take all my night routine products and and hair products with me, when I reach the bathroom I set everything to the side and lock the door, I let the water run letting it heat up, Im glad I met Athena and Im glad she helped get around because honestly if it was up to me I wouldn't have made it past the dungeon wall, I wouldn't even know what wall I would be supposed to whisper the password to. I step in the shower and lather my body with my vanilla soap and wash my hair, I finish everything up and I turn the water off dry my body off and put hair up in the towel while I get dress and do my night routine, honestly you don't wake up looking this good.
I let my hair out of the towel and put my hair cream and dry my towel with the hot air charm, I unlock the door and head straight to the girls dorm to put all of my things back, I see Athena grab her stuff and head towards the bathroom herself, I grab my wand and book and head straight for the common room my hair still sorta wet but who really cares. I sit in the sofa closer to fire, I guess I was so engrossed into my book I didn't notice Draco sitting next to with a small smile, I guess he too had showered because his hair was wet and he wasn't his suit anymore, "Hi sorry I didn't notice you I tend to get lost in a good book" I said smiling I notice his minions weren't around "Where are you from, your accent is not very common here" is all he says "its beautiful you know" he said getting closer "Well my moms family is from Barbados but great grandmother decided to move the family to Trinidad cause she fell in love with my great grandfather" I started explaining putting my book down and get closer too, I brought my knees to my chest "I know my grandma went to Cuba and met grandpa and had my mother, then my mom met my dad had me and we moved to Trinidad when I was seven" I let one knee fall down not noticing how close we are to each other that our knees collided "And then you moved to France for school? When you got accepted into Beauxbatons Academy" I simply nodded to his question.
"Draco baby what are doing" I look up following the voice that was Pansys who had her arms crossed and looked at me in disgust, all I did was bump into this girl in the train and now suddenly she hates my guts I really don't understand.
"Im going to head to bed its getting late" I said getting up and smiling "goodnight Draco goodnight Pansy" I walked away "I don't like that girl not one bit" I just roll my eyes and walk into the girls dormitory and head towards my bed moving my uniform on top of my trunk, as I get under the covers Flora follows me into the covers I close my curtain and let sleep take me away.
