x. MISSING IN ACTION

✢ ✢ ✢

Mornings at the Foster household were quite chaotic as of now.

Seeing as though Derek kicked Isaac out of the loft, Isaac immediately took to staying at the home of the girl he considers the sister he never had. Which is why Mr. Foster is watching two teenagers race around the house in order to get breakfast and get ready for the school day.

Thankfully, Foster's father was very understanding about Isaac's situation. He knew about Isaac's father passing, and when Isaac explained that he needed a place to stay, her father welcomed him with open arms.

"Come on, Lahey!" Foster called down the hallway of her small apartment. "We're gonna be late!"

The place was definitely more cramped now that Isaac was here, but she didn't mind. In all honesty, she liked having her best friend stay over. It was like an all time sleepover and because of it, she was able to force him into watching Clueless, Pretty in Pink, and The Breakfast Club last night.

The curl haired boy bounds through the hallway, grabbing an apple out of the fruit bowl before taking out of the apartment. Foster sips on her coffee, leading him toward the parking lot of the apartment complex.

She didn't live in Allison's, and hers was no where near as nice. That was because of the simple fact that her move was so abrupt and hospital's were beginning to run them dry. In all honesty, Foster wasn't sure how much longer they could last financially. They already received their first notice about being late on paying rent.

Foster and Isaac climb into her shitty Honda, Foster having to try and start the car at least five times before it worked. Again, she didn't exactly have enough money to buy herself a nice car like Lydia's or Allison's. She was on a pretty tight budget.

By the time they were pulling into Beacon Hills High School's parking lot, the duo were already a bit late due to car troubles. Resulting in Foster making it to Ms. Blake's class just a tad bit late.

Entering, she flushed brightly when the whole class looked up at her.

"Sorry," she murmured softly, quickly slipping into her seat beside Scott. Stiles was right in front of them, the three lucking out with the seating chart this year. She had no idea why Harris originally wanted to put them together, but he did, and she wasn't complaining. Except, Harris is now kind of missing. And Foster already knows that by 'missing' they meant sacrificed by a dark druid. Scott raises a brow in questioning, Foster whispering, "My car wouldn't start."

He nods, well aware of the fact that her Honda is in worse condition than Roscoe, Stiles' jeep. And yes, Stiles did indeed name his jeep Roscoe.

In front of them stood Ms. Blake, taking over their Physics class seeing as though Harris is no longer with them.

With a nervous smile, she begins, "Good morning. As you all know, Mr. Harris is still missing - I mean, sick. Anyway, I'm filling in while we all hope and pray for a more qualified substitute to take my place. Okay, so, let's get started, shall we?"

Ms. Blake turns to start writing things down on the board, Stiles then turns around, leaning toward Foster and Scott before whispering, "Hey, so my Dad said that he wasn't strangled, but he did die from suffocation. They just don't know how."

From what Foster's gathered, the next set in the pattern is healers. Last night Doctor Hilliard went missing, soon found missing from her car. The other Doctor, on the other hand, was found dead.
