[ Ch. 9 ] Naive

Chaeline POV
I entered school walking sluggishly, It was my fault for staying up all night watching cute videos of animals like who could resist them? After watching those videos I'm in dire need of an cute squishy dog.

"Chae no offense but you look like a medical student who pulled an all nighter" Yuri said amused with the girl's state.

"I want a puppy" I said dazed. Like who wouldn't want one they're so cute and squishy and the list goes on... You know what I'm gonna adopt one as soon as I can!

"Yoo Chaeline! We've been saying your name for the past two minutes now bu you look like your brain has flew to Pluto," Tiff said looking at me weirdly.

"I was thinking about puppies," I smiled sheepishly, then left first towards my first class no longer tired but still in a daze, and thinking about those cute fur balls.

"What do you think is the menu for lunch?" Yuri asked. We are packing up our things when the said girl suddenly voiced out her question.

"Dunno maybe the usual?" Tiff answered shrugging her shoulders.

"You guys go first I'll catch up I need to go to the bathroom" I said running out of the room.

After doing my business, I washed my hands and went out of the bathroom. Walking in the hallway a girl suddenly bumped into me causing the both of us to fall in the ground. "I'm so sorry are you alright?" The girl said standing up, she gave me her hand, pulling me up to my feet.

"Its alright" I said smiling to reassure her that I'm alright.
"I'm Natalie, but my korean name is Nayeon" she said smiling showing her bunny teeth.
"Yoo Chaeline"

Me and Nayeon just met a few minutes ago but it felt like I knew her for a long time, turns out Nayeon is quite famous for her song covers, and she was quite surprised herself that I didn't recognize her, which I told her I don't really like opening my social media accounts because of all the drama will just make me stressed out.

"Will you eat with anyone?" I asked her. We were on our way to the cafeteria when I decided to ask her if she wants to join us for lunch.
"Um no, the other girls just annoy me" she said rolling her eyes, well she isn't wrong tho, the other girls can be quite annoying.

"If you want you can eat with me and my friends, I swear they're better than the 'other' girls" I said making her laugh. Entering the cafeteria I saw Yuri and Tiff sitting at our usual table, which is at the corner near the windows. "Oh look who decided to show up, we thought the toilet swallowed you or something" Yuri joked. "Nah but the ground almost did" I said looking at Nayeon. "Wait, Natalie? I mean Im Nayeon?" Tiff said pointing at Nayeon. "Stefanie Park?" She said squinting. "IT IS YOU!" They both yelled making me jump, and Yuri choke on her orange juice. "Wtf Stefanie stop yelling all of a sudden or else you will make me die from a heart attack" Yuri scolded. "Hihi sorry".

After a very noisy lunch break, we decided to go out to the field to get some fresh air. We decided to sit at a table under a big tree near the soccer field. The last thing I heard before I drifted off to lala land was the three talking about their friend and something about being naive.

"Wait so she didn't notice at all like even a bit?"
"Yeah I think my brother even has a tiny crush on her but you never know my brother can be quite secretive sometimes"
"Sometimes it makes me wonder why is chae so naive"
"Well at least she's not like those girls chasing after boys like a bunch of female dogs on heat"

"Chae wake up"
Hmm? Yuri? "Five more minutes" I mumbled.
"Chae your not in your house so you better get up before the disciplinary officer catch us" Yuri said pulling me up.
"Fine" I groggily stand up and walking towards the doors when a ball came out of nowhere hitting me on the head, and that immediately woke me up. "Ouch son of a croaker that hurts" I groaned. Today really is not my day isn't it?
"Crap I'm really sorry"

Seriously what's with this school and good looking people?!
