Chapter 13 - sleepless nights _ part 1

Your pov

It's been a week since the incident at the mall and I haven't been getting that much sleep. Every time I close my eyes I see what happened. I've probably only gotten 10 hours of sleep in total this week. Colby hasn't left my side because he wants to make sure that im ok. Tonight he was going to spend the night at this haunted hotel with Sam, so that means I'll be by myself. I probably fell asleep around 6 am and got up at 7ish am today. Colby had his arms around me and I was practically on top of him. I open my eyes but then close them straight away because of the sun coming through the window. I turn over away from Colby and go on my phone. About 5 minutes later, Colby starts to stir a little bit.

"baby?" he says in his sexy ass morning voice.

"yeah babe?" I ask.

"what time is it?"

"umm... 7:07"

"that early? what are you doing up?" 

"i dont know. i woke up and couldn't get back to sleep"

"what time did you fall asleep?"

"I think around 6ish"

"baby you only got an hour sleep. Are you sure you dont want me here tonight?"

"no, i'll be fine. you go film with Sam. I dont want to hold you back from everyone"

"You sure? like 100% sure because they want you to be ok just as much as i do"

"Colb's, ill be fine"

"ok then"

Im really lucky that I have someone like him in my life. He's absolutely the best person ever.

Colbys pov:

Y/N hasn't been able to sleep very well lately and I'm honestly really worried about her. She only got an hour of sleep last night and tonight im not going to be there with her. We lay in bed together and decide to watch a corps bride before I have to get ready to leave with Sam.

The movie finishes and i go get in the shower. I was in there for about 15 minutes and when I got out, I heard Y/N crying. I quickly get dressed then go to her to see whats wrong.

"Whats wrong baby?" I ask while i wrap my arms around her small body. "you can tell me"

"Your going to think that im stupid" She says.

"Baby I would never think your stupid no matter whats gotten you this upset. Now tell me what happened"

"well while y-y-you were in t-t-the shower, i-i-i had a fl-fla-flashback of what happened at the mall" She tells me between sniffles. I seriously hate seeing her like this. I want to kill the guy that did this to her.

"baby, thats not stupid. what you went through was traumatic and disgusting. i wish i could delete those memories, i really do. But unfortunately i cant, but what I can do is make it easier to deal with. You wont completely forget what happened but the flashbacks and thoughts wont come around as often. All I can do, is be there for you when you need me"

at this point she had calmed down a lot but she wasn't able to talk so she just hugged me tight. I wish she didn't go though anything that she has gone though. she deserves way more than that.
