Jiyu sat on a bed which was within the room which he had been assigned. He looked down at Yami's revolver, which he had taken with him as a reminder. A reminder so he wouldn't forget what hell felt like. That day he saw his best friend and lover die before him. Then he heard a knock on the door. He feintly responded, "Come in..." The knob twisted and Itami walked inside, closing the door behind him. "I wanted to talk..." He said as he walked over to Jiyu and sat down beside him on his bed. "About...?" Jiyu asked in a soft tone. "Just a talk between brothers... About anything really..." Jiyu nodded and put the revolver to the side carefully and slowly, then looked back down. Itami sighed then spoke, "I understand how you've been feeling lately... I honestly do... After all, we've both had our lovers die right before our eyes... But you can't let it slow your fighting, otherwise you'll eventually die, then that only causes even more depression of those who care for you, then they die and so on. The way I see it... You could either continue fighting death in a battle which you have no chance of winning, or you can be the better, stronger man and walk away... But love is a hell of a huge burden if you ask me... Pretty much just another way of saying goodbye... But sooner or later it captures everybody within it's claws, forcing them through hell until they surrender and eventually die... Love ultimately results in death, no matter how you think of it..." "No... No that's not true..." Jiyu said, clenching his fists. "Love is a sign of hope and peace... Misfortune is all that disrupts such... Yami taught me that, I can't forget what she taught me, no matter what... I've never been good at keeping promises but I swear on Yami's grave... That I will defeat the horde... The horde which killed her... I can't promise things that I don't have the strength to preform... Such as protecting my friends... I admit it finally, I do not have the strength to protect my friends and I never will be able to... I am weak... But I remember somebody teaching me something as a child... They taught me that protecting your friends will not always stop a war... You taught me that... You did, Itami... and I have now realized just how much truth such a statement beholds... I will remember it, I am grateful... Thank you..." "No problem... But you seem better now, is there anything else you need...?" "Yeah... I've got a question... Why the hell did you leave me alone like that..." Itami sighed then spoke softly, "I left you alone like that... Because I had something I wanted to protect... Someone who I wanted to protect, somebody who I loved dearly and in the end saw die before my very eyes at our own wedding... By my own old friend... But there is another reason... I left... to teach you how to survive on your own..." Itami gave a slight smile. But then, it was suddenly interupted by a tremor. Then, they looked each other in the eye and nodded, both of them getting off the bed, Jiyu grabbing his sheathed katana's in which one belonged to his brother and the other his lover. He swung the straps which were connected to the sheathes over his chest, grasping his glock which he had recently reloaded, as Itami ran to the door and downstairs until he got to the exit.

Itami ran through the exit. Jiyu hurrying after him. The two grunted at what they saw. There it was. An entire army of the people who called themselves gods, marching towards the base. "Let's go!" Lee said, as he curved around the two who merely stood in the doorway staring. Then, Akatsuki rushed behind him, Yugure rushing behind Akatsuki. Itami then followed in behind Yugure, Jiyu following in behind him, as Renji ran out behind Jiyu, Deatta behind him, Shokan running out behind Deatta. I...I know I'm too weak to protect my friends... But what the hell am I supposed to do...?! I...I can't just sit back and watched them die, I know them like the back of my hand, or at least I'm ignorant enough to think so! None-the-less! I care for them, they're... They're Family!! I-If I can't defend my friends... Then... I have one choice left... To kill... To demolish... To exterminate... To eradicate... TO MURDER!! Jiyu thought to himself as he realized exactly what type of situation he was in. He grinned and licked his lips lightly as he ran towards the crowd, splitting up from the line which they had formed as the rest of them did the same, everybody getting in different positions. He unsheathed both of his katana's, He held them as he ran towards the crowd, who unsheathed their claymores and battle axes and war hammers and other various weapons. Then, in an intstant he cut clean through 6 of them, the blade piercing right through their armor. He then swung his other blade, slicing off their heads as they were off guard, blood splattering onto his face. He licked his lips and continued fighting against the crowd.

Renji dashed forwards, slipping his blade into their necks as quick as possible then dashing back, one at a time as Deatta who laid on a ledge a few meters away from him covered his blind spots, sniping the ones who came at him in groups all the way to hell.

Akatsuki was swift with his shortest katana in his right hand, held backwards as he stabbed and stabbed and stabbed, as well as his longest in his left, also backwards, defending the blades that came at him. Damnit... These aren't zombies... They're much more different... They have intelligence and strength as well as willpower... This is was seperates them from zombies... Skill... Akatsuki thought to himself as he grunted and continued running through the crowd.

Jiyu did the same as Akatsuki, dashing and cutting throughout the crowd, only trying to get to the back, using both of his blades to attack and defend at the same time, in a very efficient fashion.

Renji stabbed another soldier in the neck, then dashed back, as he caught 3 other shoulders coming at him out of the corner of his eye. Deatta quickly attempted to reload as always, but the mechanism got stuck. She began jerking on it until finally it released the empty shell it had been holding, sliding a new one up in it's place. She then quickly aimed down the scope as one soldier who was a bit faster than the other three ran at him, he killed him quickly and easily, then the other three swung their swords. Deatta pulled the trigger as quick as she could, killing all three of them in one shot, which passed through all three of their heads, but not before one stabbed Renji in his right arm, slicing downwards until Deatta shot him. The blade was stuck in Renji's arm. He quickly sheathed his sakaba sword and called out, "Cover me!" Deatta nodded and swung her sniper rifle back onto her back, pulling out her twin pistols, jumping down from the ledge, running past Renji who jerked the blade out and reached into his pocket, getting out some bandages. Deatta shot multiple times, each shot directly to the head, until she was all out of ammunition. She then quickly holstered the twin pistols at her hindwaist, where they belonged. She then unsheathed two knives, throwing them straight into two of the soldiers throats. Then, she turned her head, having caught something coming at her out of the corner of her eye. A soldier was close to her, she couldn't dodge this, she was gonna have to take the stab. Then, something else caught her eye, coming out of the other corner, faster than the soldier, getting a good grip on him, lifting him swiftly and slamming him down to the ground, his helmet cracking a bit, blood leaking out. Renji's arm was bandaged by now. Then, Lee ran over, past Renji and Deatta, speaking firmly, "I've got this now, go take some cover..." They nodded and ran in the opposite direction of Lee.

Lee gave a smirk as the soldiers ran at him. He'd already had a lot of momentum, he ran faster, with such speed, agility, and swiftness as he grabbed an end to a peace of wire, throwing it out, letting the spool run as he ran around the soldiers two times, then reaching behind his waist for a blade, unsheathing it as well a cutting the wire from the spool it belong to, Lee grabbing it quickly, in the same hand as he held the blade, then He quickly grabbed the other loose end of wire, crossing them and pulling them quick, making it rather a jerk. The soldiers armor cracked and their bodies were split in half. Then lee released those two peaces of wire, readying himself for another wave of soldiers.

Jiyu continued running and slicing, swinging his blades swiftly and as fast as he could, with passion and strength within his swings. He then got to the end of the crowd, sliding so the back of the crowd wouldn't notice him. He grinned as he saw the one. The one who had stared at Akatsuki for a minute straight. The one dressed in grey. His mask made odd noises as he breathed through it. This mask was different, it only covered the bottom part of his face. Half his nose, half his cheeks, his jaw, lips and finally his chin.  Now only the hood which he wore covered his face. Then, he turned as Akatsuki reached his way to the back of the line, running at him as Jiyu caught his breath. Then, the man spoke in a strange, distorted, sort of disturbing filtered voice, "Hello... My son..." He said, looking straight Akatsuki. Both Akatsuki and Jiyu froze in confusion, astonishment and horror. "Y...Your son...?" Akatsuki asked, very grimly.
