My eyes started to well up, I stood up clutching my hand to my chest, "Reading this doesn't help, I won't know your name." I cried and I held my palm to my head, I stood up tall and began running again. "Dad." I was panting at the door, "Yuki. Don't tell me you're back." He stands up, Yotsuha and Grandma was also there, the comet landed at the Nariko shrine, an earspliting eruption was heard, everyone screamed and ducked, everything was destroyed, a crater the size of Itomori lake was blown up, half the town was obliterated.

- Taki POV -

The next day, the news blew up with the new crater that was formed by the meteor that hit down on Itomori, I could've sworn I was only just there, but why was I there? Was it for something or someone? "Comet Tiamat's rouge nucleus exploded on the town if Itomori, miraculously most of the people living in the town were unhurt. Apparently the town was holding an emergency drill yesterday and most residents were outside of the impact zone. The sheer luck and coincidence have already sparked some conspiracy theories, was it fate? It was almost like someone travelled back in time?

- Yuki POV -

"Wake up! It's time for school!" Yotsuha slammed my door, I groaned as I stretched my back, "Don't slam the doors, we aren't at the shrine anymore, we're in a Tokyo house, these walls are paper thin." I yawn, I brushed my hair and braided two braids before flipping them up and tying them up with my kumihimo, it's the last thing we have from Itomori, our traditions, I looked at the mirror, "I'm crying?" I touch my eyes, I finished my hair with a bow, it felt familiar, like someone was helping me, "Morning." I sat at the table while Grandma scooped a bowl of rice for me, Yotsuha, Grandma and I decided to move to Tokyo after Itomori was destroyed, it was almost fate that I knew Itomori was going to be destroyed, did someone tell me? "Do you know where you're going?" I look down at Yotsuha, she laughs nervously and scratches her head, "Fine, I'll take you. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, it's your first day." I slung my bag on my back and tightened my green tie on my neck and put on my navy blazer, "Bye bye!" We both waved Grandma goodbye, "Have a nice day," She smiles as we shut the door, "Platform three, argh, Yotsuha, making me take the long way to school," I grinned and ruffled her hair, "Hey! Stop it!" She pulls my hands away, we boarded the train, we stood by the door because there weren't any seats left available. Yotsuha was jumping as she looked at the scene we were looking at which was Tokyo, I remember coming here once, but still, it's breathtaking, we reached another train and my eyes widen, a boy, he looked my way and his eyes widen, his mouth hangs open a little, he faces my way, I quickly glance at his crest on his blazer, Jingu High School. Same as me, a train broke us apart, I know what I've been searching for.

Her!
Him!

I quickly drop Yotsuha off at school and ride the next train back to my new high school, I jump off the train and run all the way to school. "We have a new student today," The teacher introduces me, I walk in, "Ahh, she's cute." "She's so pretty." "I'm jealous." "She's cute, I wanna try my shot." I heard murmurs spread throughout the classroom, I blushed, "M-My name's Nariko Yuki. Nice to meet you." I bow, "Where are you from, tell us a little more about yourself, your old school, interests?" The teacher asks, I bit my cheek and I take a breath, "I'm from Itomori." Everyone gasped, even the teacher, "I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have asked," She looks at me, I shake my head, "I'm from the country town of Itomori, my town was blown up by the comet Tiamat yesterday during the festival. The evacuation plan... it was my idea but it was like someone called me to do it. I don't know if it was fate or luck but... I'm lucky that I'm able to be here today with all of you. I look forward to being together." I bowed, everyone cheered and clapped, "You're a hero!" "You saved your town!" Whistles were heard, I rose back up and scratched my cheek, even the teacher used a tissue to blot the corners of her eyes, "That was touching Nariko-san. We hope you enjoy your time here at Jingu High School." The teacher put her hand on my back and points to a seat near the back.

Taki

I heard a name in my head, my eyes widen, "Taki..." I mutter, "Huh?" A boy stands up, the same boy from the train earlier this morning, "Yuki..." He looks at me, "Do you know each other?" The teacher asks, I felt tears roll down my face, "You made her cry man!" One of his friends slapped his arm, the class laughed, I stepped forwards and reached out, "It's you? Is it really you? Don't tell me this is a dream..." I touched his hair, his arms, his chest, "I'm here." He hugged me, I burst out crying, "Is she okay? Would you like to go outside for a while?" The teacher asks, I wiped my eyes on Taki's blazer and nodded. We went outside the classroom and sat on the roof, "Tagaki, Tsukasa, are they here too?" I turn around as I grabbed the chainlink fence and looked out on Tokyo, he nodded, "They're here, everyone's here. But what I'm more focused on is that your here." He touched my cheek, I felt more tears roll down, "Our timelines, they synced together." I choked out a laugh, "I didn't know I had to wait so little to see you again. To remember you again." He hugged me tight, "Can Yuki in Yuki's body go to the cafe for real now? Where the food is going into my body?" I look at him, he chuckles, "Take my wallet, I'm spoiling you with everything you want in Tokyo. We're going to every cafe they have to offer." He laughs, "But I thought you told me to stop wasting your money." I tugged his tie and flicked his nose, "That was old Taki. The new Taki wants to spoil his new girlfriend who maybe didn't get killed three years ago my a meteor." He rubs the back of his head, I saw something fall out of his sleeve, I reached back to my hair and pulled out my kumihimo, his eyes widen and he unclips his, we hold them side by side, they were identical, every stitch, every detail, the exact same, "Musubi." We both said and looked at each other, we swapped them and I helped Taki clip mine around his wrist and he told me to turn around, he braided my hair and tied it up with his kumihimo, "They twist and reconnect, unravel and tangle, intertwine. Just like love." He says as he finished my hair and spins me around, he grabbed my face and we kissed. Finally. In Tokyo.

"Ahhh! I know I've seen this menu about a hundred times but this still looks amazing every time!" I looked at the menu, Taki took me to the cafe I first went to when I was in his body, "What do you want? Anything you want it's on the Great King Taki." He grins and leans his chin on his hand, "Well 'Great King Taki' I'll have the honey soufflé pancakes with vanilla ice cream mochi." I read off the menu, "Anything for my lady." He grins and calls a waiter. We quickly ate the pancakes and we ran out, he took me to arcades, shops, department stores, this was everything I dreamed of when I was thinking of Tokyo, everything seemed perfect, everything was perfect. We both stood on the highway bridge, "I guess we call it a night." I swing our arms back and forth, "Maybe, but we always have tomorrow, and the day after that, and that, and that, and that-" I cup my hand over his mouth to make him shut up, "You're still the goof that I love, also, you think writing I love you on my hand was helpful in any way! I could've remembered your name just like that if you wrote Taki Tachibana on my hand. Baka." I slapped his head, "Ow... well I had to tell you how I felt didn't I?" He rubbed the back of his head and grinned, "I already knew you love me." I kissed his cheek, "Well don't think too hard about it, we're here now and I'm never forgetting your name... Yuki Nariko." He cups my cheek, "Well I can't really get your ugly face out of my mind, I guess it's gotta stay there forever for now on. What a shame." I sighed and grinned, "Come here you." He kissed my lips.

"Grandma, Yotsuha, I'm home!" I open the door, "Yuki." Grandma comes to the door, "You..." She looked at Taki, he stiffened up, "Y-yes." He bows, I laughed and brought him back up, "Taki Tachibana, he's my boyfriend," I kissed his cheek, she squints at him, "I guess the Nariko dreams all have lead up to this ending." She smiles, "H-Huh?!" Both of us were shocked, she chuckles, "Yes, yes, of course. Come in and have some tea Taki. After all, you're family." She walks in, he looks down at me and smiles, "Well come on. Let's go!" I pulled him after me, "W-Whoa!" He laughs as he tumbles in after me. Everything was perfect, I found the love of my life again. My name? No. Your Name. Taki Tachibana.
