Chapter Twenty-Four

"Why are you late?"

"Sorry, something came up at the house."

"You can't stay like this. You need to change that habits of yours."

"It won't happen again, I swear."

"You kept on disappointing me. Do you want everyone to know your darkest secret?"

"No, please, no."

"Then do everything as I say!"

Jimin's Point of View

"Dude! Come on! Kiss her!" Taehyung shouts as he points as the TV. But the guy turned his back on the girl.

"Oh why?! Your bestfriend will take her from you! Yah!" Sana shouted as she walks right to the TV and pointed at the guy.

"They will be together at the end. That's how love stories work." Yoongi said as he finished his glass of iced tea.

Taehyung and Sana are being carried away by the movie. Yoongi doesn't give a budge and just drinking all of the iced tea that I prepared. Jungkook and Hoseok are deeply watching the movie as well as Tzuyu, Chaeyoung and Mina but they're eating popcorns. Namjoon and Seokjin are in the kitchen preparing for our additional snacks since Momo and Dahyun finished all the foods before everyone else. While Nayeon and Jihyo are sitting by my side, crying because of the movie and I am their tissue holder. 

Where's Jeongyeon?

We don't know. She disappeared earlier at the breakfast and she's still not home. It's 8pm now.

"Nabong..." Jihyo said while sniffing. Nayeon hummed in response while she's sniffing also. "I remember this scenario when we were in sixth grade----"

"SHUT UP!" Nayeon took all of our attention when she shouted.

"Ah. She remembered Donghan." Chaeyoung said then looked at the TV again.

"W-who's Donghan?" I whispered to Jihyo.

"Nayeon's first love." Jihyo whispered to me as well.

(This is not true 'kay? HAHAHA. I just made this up. I don't know who's Donghan and who he is in Nayeon's life or if there is Donghan in her life or the name 'Donghan' is even for a girl or a boy. Again, this is not true. Full fiction, loves. Don't kill me, please!)

I nodded as response. I looked at Nayeon who's watching at the TV with her tears falling from both of her cheeks. I patted Nayeon's back and she looked at me due to confusion. "Move on, Nayeon. Move on." I whispered and she frowned at me.

"I should be the one telling you that." She imitated me patting her back. "Move on, Jimin. Move on."

I chuckled sarcastically. "Move on from what?"  I said then looked at the TV.

"From Jeongyeon." I immediately got serious from what she said. "It's obvious that you had a thing for our bestfriend ever since day one. Stop acting strong when you're actually in pain because of her." She added then took some popcorns from Mina.

"Argh. Boring. Let's watch horror." Yoongi said then took the remote.

"Aniyo!" All the girls shouted.

"Yah! Wae?!" Yoongi shouted as well.

"Action will work." Jihyo whispered at Yoongi. He smiled eventually. "Who's your favorite actor?" Yoongi said while browsing through different action movies.

All of them answered synchronously. Tom Cruise, Keanu Reeves, Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey, Jr., Mel Gibson, Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Patts, Chris Evans, Karen Gillan, Dwayne Johnson, etc. These girls are fans of action movies. No wonder how it hurts when they hit us. It's because they learn from the movies.

We decided to watch John Wick Chapter 2. Kinda brutal, but it's good tho.

The sad emotion from the romance movie suddenly disappeared when all the girls suddenly lighten up the mood by "Yes! Shoot his head!" "Behind you! Turn around!" "Hit him!" "Yah! You can't beat him!" "Omo, he's hurt! You'll be killed!"

Namjoon and Seokjin came from the kitchen with newly cooked snacks. "Yay! Food!" Momo and Dahyun but Namjoon and Seokjin avoided the food from them.

"Yah! Both of you! Since you always finish the food, you will wash the dishes!" Seokjin shouts. The two girls pouted as what Seokjin said.

We all started to watch again while eating. The girls fell asleep on their places as 10pm strikes. I let Nayeon and Jihyo rest their heads on my shoulder so that they'll feel comfortable. Also, the boys are falling asleep. I think I'm the only one who's fully awake here, but I feel my eyes giving up but I don't wanna sleep yet.

I'm waiting for Jeongyeon.

I suddenly felt thirsty so I slowly removed Nayeon and Jihyo's head from my shoulders so that I can stand up and get some drinks from the kitchen. I went to the kitchen then opened the refrigerator to get some water when I saw a shadow looking into the house through the window. The lights on the living room is off and only the lights from the television is the source of light there so I can't clearly see who's that shadow. I decided to slowly go out without that guy noticing. I took one of the umbrellas for self-defense. Who knows? This guy's a thief.

I slowly opened the door then immediately positioned to hit him.

I mean, her.

It's a girl.

IT'S A FREAKING GIRL!

"Jimin! It's me!" She shouted as she clutched down to defend herself.

I stared at the girl to recognize her.

"J-jeongyeon?"

She stood up,  but she's not facing me. She starts to walk but I grabbed her arm. She looks down as if she was hiding something in her face. I threw the umbrella away (it's broken tho) and used my other hand to raise her head.

She's got bruises on her lips and left eye. "Where did you get this? Who did this to you?"  I asked.

"None of your business." She tries to let go of my grasp but I held her more tightly. "Let go." She said as she looks at me seriously.

"Not until you tell me what happened to your..... uhm...... gorge---- face." What's happening to me? Why am I......

"Stuttering?" She chuckles. "I said let go."

"No." I pulled her closer to me. "I won't let go of you anymore."
