Chapter Nineteen

Two weeks later....

Jimin's Point of View

It's been two weeks after the cheating incident, and I can say that everything has changed. The girls seemed to be distant from us.

The dinner is quiet unlike before.

We're not playing online games anymore.

We don't go to school together anymore.

The whole house is now lifeless.

My friendship with Jeongyeon also changed. She's avoiding me. She doesn't talk to me, whether we're in the school or in the house. She immediately finishes the dinner and heads straight to her room, where it seems like she doesn't want to be with me in the same room.

And I hate it.

I was sleeping when the boys entered my room in total chaos. I covered my head with a pillow to lower the disturbance and lessen the noise.

"Jimin~ Wake up~" Someone whispered to me. And I know it's Taehyung.

"I'm not in my mood, Tae." I said with my face muffled by the pillow. He then tried to pull my pillow and he succeeded.

"Stand up. We'll eat breakfast." Seokjin said.

"I don't want to." I whispered.

"Okay. Don't eat. Just attend the class." Namjoon said while crossing his arms. "You're in a three-day streak of absence. Two more absents, automatic kick out. And I know you don't want that." He added, and that got me thinking.

"Aish. I'm so lazy to go to school today." I said while covering my whole body with my blanket.

I got shocked when all of them carried me to the bathroom then threw me to the bathtub then rinsed me with water with my clothes on.

"Dude! Why?!" I screamed at them.

"You want us to bathe you or you can do it yourself?" Namjoon said.

"I-i can do it..." I said stuttering. They left the bathroom and I did what I need to do.

I finished preparing myself. Wearing my uniform. Fixing my hair.

I still need to look presentable even though Jeongyeon doesn't pay her attention to me.

"Chim. Breakfast is ready." Seokjin said. I nodded then left my room then headed to the dining room.

We started eating. As always, it's silent. Not like before that we tease each other, shout at each other, or worse, throw foods at each other.

I miss the old days. And I know how much the boys do too.

I finished my food quickly then went to school without waiting for them. I walked to school then headed immediately to the cafeteria since I'm still not full.

"Why are you alone here, boy?" The janitor asked me while mopping the floor. "You're supposed to be with your friends." He added.

"Uhm. Just wanna have a 'me' time, Sir." I politely answered.

"Let me guess. It's about a girl." Mr. Janitor said while looking at the area he's mopping. I stopped eating because of what he said. "Girls are confusing. One day, they will say they like you. Then on the next day, they ignore like they never said a thing." He added.

I continued eating while listening to him. He has a point though.

"But if you really love a girl, however confusing she is, you will understand her and pursue her to be yours." He added then went onto the next area.

That got me thinking until class.

"Bro, come on." Taehyung said as he pulls me up for recess but I refuse. "Darn it, Jimin. Just eat some biscuits. Come on, let's go to the cafeteria." He added.

"I don't want to eat." I emotionless said. All of the boys sighed at me.

"You know what, I'm starting to hate you for having that feelings for Jeongyeon." Seokjin strictly said at me. "Aish, tell me the truth. Why do you like her?" He added.

I did not answer.

"I'm also confused why. She's so boyish, man!" Hoseok said.

I did not answer.

"Jimin, look. Jeongyeon's not the one for you." Jungkook said.

I did not answer.

"Jimin, open your eyes. There's so many girls out there, not only Jeongyeon." Yoongi said.

I did not answer.

"She's not so girly like Nayeon or Jihyo. How come that you like her?" Taehyung said.

I did not answer.

"Jimin..." Namjoon said. "What exactly do you like about Jeongyeon?"

I sighed first. "Well, I just love Yoo Jeongyeon."
