After making Stan and Kyle agree, even if unconsciously, to be the agents of his plan, Cartman would move on to the second phase of his plan, which he baptized 'Time Change'. One reason the Black family was one of the richest in South Park was because of Mr. Black's excellent job as a meteorologist for the state newspaper. The studio was in Denver, about half an hour away from the mountain town, if you were driving. Sometimes, when something really important about the weather happened, Token's father needed to travel to other cities within the state of Colorado.
Cartman had spent a few hours of his afternoon watching scenes from the newspaper so he could emulate the anchor perfectly. He used one of his many tactics to call Token's home without the boy's father realizing that he wasn't his superior. Mr. Black answered on the third ring.
"Yes?"
"Ah Steve! How's it going, pal? This is Tom." Cartman said imitating almost impeccably the way the channel 7 anchor spoke.
"Oh yes, hi Tom, how are you?" he asked, buying the lie. Cartman held his laugh on the other side to keep and then started to inform Mr. Black about the special report that they'd have to do at Fort Collins, and that the next day, a Friday, instead of driving to the studio in Denver, he had to go to the headquarters at the other city. He could spend the weekend with everything paid for after the story with his wife and son if he wanted to.
"That's all good to you?"
"S-Sure Tom! That's great, actually." the man replied, smiling. He said goodbye to his supposed co-worker and hung up the phone, soon going to tell the news to his family.
Cartman smirked hanging up too. "You're right, Mr. Black... This couldn't be better." he couldn't help, but laugh. Soon he texted Stan and Kyle so they try to convince Token about the party and Kenny about the drinks. Before the weekend was over, Eric Cartman would have Kenny Mccormick's secret in his hands.

After receiving the 'sign' from Cartman, Stan and Kyle texted each other in a private chat to talk alone. Kyle started the conversation.
KYLE: Ok, we can talk to the guys now. I wonder how Cartman knows Token's parents will be out.
STAN: that doesn't matter dude. It'll be cool... You think you'll convince Token tomorrow?
KYLE: ?
STAN: what?
KYLE: Why do I have to talk to Token?!
STAN: what do you mean? It's obvious you have to talk to Token!
KYLE: Stan! I don't even talk much with Token... He doesn't get along with me, i guess because of Nichole's thing when we were kids...
STAN: Kyle! You and Nichole went out once! And they weren't together! You guys play together at basketball team, for Christ sake!
