This concept is slightly based on my "The Other Eye" story, but it ain't gonna be canon
(There are various rankings from each group the world had, the two most famous ones are people called "The Healers" and "The Hunters".
The Healers' job is, well, heal and cure people from any sort of sickness and injury they have
The Hunters' job is, well, you heard it, hunt down and kill unwanted predators, most commonly beasts, monsters, and to arrest criminals along the way
But there were two people that were, quite different.)
This is *clears throat* PLATONIC
Yeah, I heard the news, people shipping Tommy and Tubbo, Tommy and fricken Dream's sister, guys, no, plz no they're minors and they have already said they ain't comfortable with that, plz stop
..........
Tommy stared at a plant, no thoughts, head empty. Palot Town was, how can Tommy say this without being so called "rude", Palot Town was a boring place to stay. Everyday or so he would always see the same people passing by his healing hut, and when they do come and visit, he would always had to heal some sort of paper cut or just a cold.
He wanted something, a little more adventurous, something more, daring.
...
The bells jingled again, barely getting Tommy's attention. He didn't bother to look up to check who it was, probably just some cold.
"Dealing with paper cuts again?" Tommy greeted, tapping onto a healing pot.
"Um, no, I think I need help." Tommy looked up at the new comer.
"Holy sh-" Now this new comer, had a large bleeding wound.
"Holy- Come here come here my gosh, what happened!?" Tommy lead the person towards a seat, near where all of the other potions were.
The person opened their mouth to answer his question, but was immediately cut off.
"Sorry didn't get your name." Tommy said.
"Tubbo." Tubbo told him.
"Okay great, now, Tubbo what the hell happened to ya?" Tommy snatched a cloth was kept neatly on a shelf, and proceeded to wash it wet with the water he had in a nearby bucket.
"Umm, I kinda got, uhh." Tubbo began. "Attacked, because I'm a hunter, yeah."
"A hunter huh?" Tommy dried the damp cloth a bit and walked over towards Tubbo.
He got a small pillow an gestured Tubbo to lay their arm on it. They did.
"This is going to sting, sorry, heh." Tubbo flinched when Tommy covered the wound with the cloth.
Tubbo watched Tommy skipped around the hut and to the shelves. Tommy was basically shoving healing potions away and seemed to be looking for one that was located in the back shelf.
He grabbed a red bottle and hopped over to Tubbo. Tommy opened the bottle and Tubbo almost pulled their arm away in instinct when Tommy began pouring the potion onto their wound without any warning.
"Don't worry, Tubbo, I do this all the time!" Tommy told him cheerfully.
After a few moments, Tommy gently removed the cloth, and the wound was long gone.
Tubbo carefully pulled their arm back. He chuckled a bit, seeing how it looked like nothing had happened.
"Wow, thank you!" Tubbo told Tommy.
"You're welcome, say didn't you mention you were one of those hunters?" Tommy sparked up a conversation.
"Uhh, yeah." Tubbo answered.
"You know, you don't seem like the type of person to be a, to be a hunter. You know what I mean?" Tommy chuckled nervously.
Tubbo gave their look of disapproval to Tommy, who then signed back in defeat.
"Yeah, I know." Tubbo admitted. "My family and most of my cousins are great hunters. They all expected me to be like them, while I don't even have the courage to kill some stupid bee, because bees are great you know!"
Tommy nodded in response.
"Well, my family wanted me to have a safe job, even though I told them that I'm capable of doing more than just healing. It's always 'Tommy, it's too dangerous'." Tommy explained. "I mean, you're actually the first patient that actually had a serious case, scared the life out of me to be honest."
The two laughed together, filling the emptiness in the hut. After they had calmed down, Tommy had a small idea.
"Hey, wanna meet up in the forest near by?" Tommy asked them. "I always wanted to go hunting! And maybe you can teach me some of your tricks!"
"Ummm, sure." Tubbo agreed. "But, I might not be really good at teaching, and it is quite dangerous out there."
"I'm sure we can handle it." Tommy told them.
