Sorry it's sooo late!

Sapnap sat on the tower, looking down upon everything he watched built. He looked towards his right, and saw Skeppy busy building his floating islands. He looked down on the ground again, and saw Dream, walking away and towards the community house. Where the portal was to visit and exiled Tommy.

Oh how much everything has changed. Everything stayed still, but it has still changed.

New buildings were up, new homes. Old building were either given mercy to live, griefed, or just turning old.

But still, everything changed. Even friendships.

Let's go in the garden...

Sapnap was now slowly opening the door to the community house. The first ever building to ever exist in this world. They build this house together, and it's changed so much.

You'll find something waiting...

He stepped into the house and slowly closed the door behind him. Sapnap looked down on the floor and frankly giggled to himself when he saw those crafting tables. He remembered that little inside joke that he, George and Dream had, now they don't really laugh anymore.

Right where you left it...

He found a picture frame of them, that was dangling from the wall. Threatening to fall.

Lying upside down...

The picture frame fell as Sapnap was about to grab it. He groaned in frustration when he heard the glass shattered. He bent down and carefully brushed off the glass off the picture itself. He stood up again when he had it in his hands.

When you finally found it...

Sapnap sighed when he stared at the picture. It was a group picture of the three of them. Dream being in the middle, with his signature mask. George in the left, with his weird looking goggles, where Sapnap would always make fun of. And in the left, him. Him holding the camera for them all.

You'll see how it's faded...

Sapnap realized how old this picture was. When, when was the last time, the last time they properly hung out without it being interrupted? When was the last time they had an actual chat?

Sapnap, couldn't remember, but the clear memories were before the house that he was in, was complete.

The underside is lighter...

Sapnap carefully turned the picture around.

When you turned it around...

"I love you all with all my heart, and I'll never think of other people who are better friends than you two.

-Dream 💚"

Sapnap immediately wiped away the tears that were forming in his eyes. Instead of sadness he felt furious. Furious because of himself thinking that Dream actually cared. He never did.

Everything stays... Right where you left it...

Out of anger, Sapnap crumpled the picture and threw it at the wall. Why did it have to change, why did everything have to change for him?

Everything stays... But it still changes...

"Sapnap?"

He froze. He immediately grabbed the crumpled picture from the floor and tried fixing it.

"Are you okay?" Sapnap turned around, and nodded at George.

"I'm still here, Sapnap." George spread his arms out, which led Sapnap in shock.

Ever so slightly... Daily and nightly...

Sapnap took the hug, and gave George one of the biggest hugs he could ever have. George chuckled a bit and hugged back.

"I still have you." George told his friend.

"And you still have me." Sapnap replied.

The picture fell from Sapnap's hand. It slid through the cracks of the floor, and it fell gently in the water. The fishes swarm around it for a few seconds, then they swam away once they lost interest in it.

The picture landed on the lake floor, staring up above. Slowly to be buried under the sand, never to be seen again.

In little ways...
