Chapter 9

Later, Hook, Vivian and Belle were in the Captain's Quarters, Belle was looking through the bookshelf as Vivian and Hook kept trying to cuff off but both were failing.

"Ouch," Vivian sighed and gave up, "I give up," She said.

Hook looked at Belle, "You sure I can't get you anything? We could always crack open a barrel of rum, if you thought it'd help," Hook said.

"She's pregnant, remember?" Vivian said.

Hook smile dropped slowly, "Oh, yeah," Hook said and glanced at Vivian.

Belle sighed, "N-No, I'm... I'm fine," Belle told them.

"I honestly do not believe that, but I'll pretend I do," Vivian said.

"Hello," Jekyll called out from above deck, "I-Is anyone down here?" He asked as he walked down and into the cabin, "Oh, you are," He sighed, "Thank goodness you're here," He said.

"And the question is why you're here. Shouldn't you be in the lab completing your serum?" Hook asked him.

"Th-That's just it. I did and then Hyde found me and destroyed the lab," Jekyll said.

"But what happened to the serum?" Vivian asked him.

"The Dark One took it. Apparently, he has some arrangement with the Evil Queen," Jekyll said.

"Of course they have some arrangement," Vivian said with a sigh.

"Emma's looking for the Evil Queen," Hook said.

"Go, go, Emma needs you, we'll be alright," Belle said.

Hook looked at Vivian, "Go. We've got Papa Rumpel's spell to protect us and I'll do what I have to," Vivian said.

"Okay," Hook nodded and patted her shoulder before he left the ship.

Jekyll sighed, "So," He chuckled, "You're Belle the, uh, Dark One's wife," Jekyll said.

"I'm, uh... I'm sorry for any harm he's caused you," Belle said.

"I appreciate the sentiment. Sentiment won't bring back Mary," Jekyll said.

"Mary? Is she someone you love?" Belle asked him.

"With all my heart... Until Hyde destroyed that love," Jekyll said as Belle made them tea.

"Whatever happened... Whatever Hyde did to Mary, I'm, uh, sorry," Belle said.

"Mama Belle, please, stop apologising for something you didn't cause," Vivian said.

"If only she'd been strong enough to resist Hyde, she would be mine," Jekyll said.

"Yours?" Vivian said.

"I mean, we'd... We'd... We'd... Be together," Jekyll stuttered.

Vivian glanced at Belle then the shell that Hook gave to Belle. Belle looked at Vivian slightly and, "Yeah... Yeah. Oh, let me... Let me get some sugar for you," Belle said and walked over to where the sugar was, but she looked at the shell. She was about to grab it and Jekyll grabbed her by her wrist.

"Whoops, you weren't getting the sugar," Jekyll said.

"Killian, help!" Belle said but Jekyll made her drop the shell and it shattered on the floor.
