Chapter 28

The next morning, at Emma's house, Vivian had cooked Emma her breakfast and conjured three dresses Emma picked out from the designs. She had gone to the Jolly Roger with Hook's tux before she walked back into Emma's house with Snow.

"Did you decide which one?" Vivian asked.

"Not yet, I have narrowed it down to two, but neither one feels exactly right," Emma said.

"Oh, anything you want changing?" Vivian asked.

"I don't know," Emma said

"Well, I didn't want to say anything," Snow began and the two looked at her, "Because I wasn't sure that the curse even brought it over from the Enchanted Forest, but I had Belle scour the back of Gold's shop and she found it... My wedding dress! Do you want to wear it?" Snow said.

"Of course, where is it?" Emma asked.

"Well, I dropped it off at the dry cleaner and it should be back in plenty of time for the wedding tonight," Snow said.

"Oh, mom, that's... Thank you!" Emma said.

They pull each other into a hug, "With all we've been through lately, I just never thought we'd get a moment like this," Snow said.

"Beautiful," Vivian said and smiled, "Snow are you staying?"

"Yeah," Snow nodded, "Why?"

"I'm going to set up," Vivian smiled.

"Can I see it now?" Emma asked.

Vivian looked at her, "Nope," Vivian waved her hands and she disappeared in purple smoke.

Flashback

Snow and Charming had visited Rumpelstiltskin in his cell when he told them that there was nothing that they could do about the Evil Queen but their daughters could. The married couple was arguing about what to do.

"I just need some air," Snow said and walked out onto their balcony, she looked out to the stars, "I wish we had what we needed to help the girls to give them their chance at a happy ending," Snow said and walked back inside as a star flared in the sky.

The next morning, a bluebird flew in and whistled, waking Snow from her sleep.

End of Flashback

Later, Snow brought her wedding dress to Emma's house where Emma was having a drink with Regina and Zelena.

"It's here," Snow said.

"Oh," Emma said and watched her mother set the box that had her wedding dress on the table. Emma opened the box, pulled the dress out, "Oh, wow. Mom! It's beautiful," Emma said.

Vivian walked in, "Everything is ready and set up, it's protected by dwarfs and shield," She said and saw Snow's dress and smiled, "It's perfect," Vivian said to Emma.

"Isn't it?" Emma said with a smile as she held it up against her body and the dress suddenly started to turn black.

"Mom?" Emma said confused.

The Black Fairy appeared in black smoke, "I never was a fan of white weddings," She said.

"How are you still here?" Emma asked.
