In an alternate universe where Damian never left the Al Ghuls and became the rightful heir to the League of Assassins, his life was much different from that of the youngest Robin alongside his father Bruce Wayne.

He never went to Gotham, never met his father and paternal side of the family in person, never became a vigilante, and continued his life as that of a deadly assassin, leading the League according to the legacy of his grandfather and mother.

A heartless assassin, a lethal weapon, and deep down a broken human sitting on his throne, weighed down by the heavy crown jewels on his head. The very crown that many would have killed for if he hadn't gotten rid of them first.

He was the black king at the chessboard of his own life, knowing that there were many pieces out there to checkmate him. And yet the controller of that chessboard had planned an even deadly fate for him by setting the white queen into action.

It is no lesser known fact that in a parade of rooks, knights, and castles, the queen stands the deadliest of all.

Fair warning, it's going to be much different than stories I have already written as it deals with darker themes of violence, abuse, torture etc. Proceed with this story at your own discretion.
