Song: Never by Phonat.
Enjoy this chapter, sorry it's so short. XoxoIt was Saturday morning. I woke up to light rain hitting my window.
I decided to call Holly to hang out. I did have alot to tell her about Evan.
"Hello?" She answered after a few rings.
"Hey do you want to hang out today?" I asked.
"Sure." Holly replied.
"We could go to Starbucks then shopping? I need some new jeans."
"Okay, sounds like a plan. Is 10:30 ok?" She asked.
"Yeah, I'll pick you up then." I hung up.
I put on a red flannel, black skinny jeans, and white converse. I put on light makeup and curled my hair.
"Mom? I'm going shopping with Holly." I walked downstairs into the kitchen.
"Okay dear. Have fun." She lightly smiled, pulling a muffin pan out of the oven.
"Oh, and by the way, Evan asked me to be his girlfriend last night." I grabbed a blueberry muffin.
"Really? Oh, good."
I nodded.
"I could just see the way he looked at you. He really likes you."
"You think so?" I asked.
"Well he asked you out, didn't he?" She raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah," I turned around. "Well I'm out of here. See you later."
"Have fun. Be safe! What time are you going to be home?"
"I don't know. I'll text you before. Probably a few hours."
I picked up Holly from her house. She was wearing white skinny jeans, and a hot pink shirt that looked really good on her.
We got to Starbucks. I ordered a Carmel Frappuccino and Holly ordered a White Chocolate Mocha.
"So, I have some news about Evan and I." I smiled.
"What happened?" She took a sip of her mocha.
"Well, he came over last night and he met my mom." I told her.
"Oh yeah? How does she like him?" Holly asked.
I shrugged. "I think she likes him. Or atleast, she acts like it. And Adam likes him too."
"Oh, that's good."
"Yeah," I took a drink of my Frappuccino. "Anyways, Evan asked me to be his girlfriend last night."
Holly's eyes got huge. "Seriously?!"
"Yeah." I smiled.
"And?! Are you guys dating now?"
I nodded. "Yeah."
"Oh my god! That's great, Aurora!" She smiled huge.
"Want to go to Forever 21 now? I heard they're having a sale," I looked at the time on my phone. "It ends in an hour."
She nodded and stood up.
We got to the mall and went to Forever 21.
"Anyways, yesterday, I went to that sandwich shop with Evan during lunch. And guessed who walked in?" I looked at Holly.
"Who?"
"Angelina."
"Ew." She made a gross face.
"Yeah. And then she asked to sit with Evan and I." I rolled my eyes.
"Then what happened?"
"She told Evan to tell me why he moved here. And that he's a two-timing jerk." I chuckled.
"Why he moved here? What's that supposed to mean?"
"I don't even know," I grabbed a pair of pants off the rack and held them up to Holly. "These?"
"Yeah those are cute." She smiled.
We continued searching and I ended up finding two new pairs of pants, a Nirvana shirt, and a red zip-up hoodie.
We then went to H&M and I got a new cardigan and distressed jeans.
Holly and I decided to have a sleepover that night at my house.
"So? Have you talked to Evan today?" Holly sat down on my floor with a bowl of popcorn.
"No." I grabbed a hand full of the popcorn. It was lightly covered with butter.
"Why not?! He's your boyfriend."
I shrugged. "I don't know. I'll text him I guess."
"Oh! That reminds me, Drew and I have a thing," Holly bit her lip. "So let's go on a double date tomorrow!"
"Drew? Drew Wallace?" I picked up my phone.
"Yeah. It just happened Thursday."
"Wait, so are you guys dating?"
"No, not yet. But he'd like to go on a date." She winked.
I laughed.
Hey Evan. Holly wants us to go on a date with her and Drew tomorrow.
Ok, where?
Sally's Pancakes. For breakfast.
Ok, what time?
9:30 good?
Yeah. See you then. :)
Yup. Miss you! xoxo
I couldn't see Evan, but I knew he was smiling. I just had this feeling.
