Magolor's POV:
(back before Dark Sakura fled from the library)
"Shut up and read, Magolor," Meta Knight mutters irritatedly to his book. "Please, for the sake of all things peaceful, either be helpful or go away."
Smirking a bit, I sort through a few books on the shelf I'm floating in front of while thinking of some snarky comeback, but suddenly, my thoughts are interrupted by the sound of someone knocking several books off the shelf just on the other side, followed by a tearing noise and a frightened hiss.
Well, of course I zoom around just as fast as I can, only to see a black cape running away from me, a pile of books on the floor, and a scrap of said cape in the middle of the pile. "Yeah, you'd better run, Bad Kitty Princess," I mutter to myself but then pause. "Hmm, no... Princess of the Bad Kitties? Uh-uh. Evil Cat Princess? Still not it. Hmm... Her Royal Felon Feline? Her Royal Fed-up Fluffiness?"
"'Dark Sakura' would be the simplest way," Meta Knight reminds me with an annoyed sigh as he enters the aisle of books just behind me. "I wonder how long she was listening, and why she suddenly ran? Just like the Dark Matter Swordsmen yesterday..."
"I know why she ran. She must've been scared of me and my level-10 pure awesomeness," I inform him with a satisfied puffing-up of myself.
With a roll of his eyes, he disagrees, "Not likely." A moment later, he picks up the little scrap of black Dimensional fabric and frowns at it. "She obviously was in a hurry, though, if she ran hard enough to allow her cape to tear on something. Of course it could fix itself very quickly, but you would think she wouldn't allow herself to make her presence so obvious."
Shrugging, I mutter, "Unless she really wanted to for some reason, ya mean," but then notice a book that I don't think was there when I went perusing through this section earlier. "Hey, what's this? Think it could be helpful, informative, useful, all that?"
"We've already been through here," Meta Knight shakes his head with a sigh as he goes to pick up the rest of the books. "This is what I get for telling everyone where this place is hidden. You all treat it like a playground, rather than the dignified establishment it actually is."
Whatevs, grumpbucket. After a moment of hesitation, I pick up the book that seemed interesting to me and flip it open. A few minutes of reading makes it obvious that it's some sort of journal. Welp, Meta Knight was right yet again, nothing we need to know.
But just as I get ready to stuff it onto the nearest shelf, one of the pages starts hanging out, making me gulp and try to stuff it back in before Mister Don't-Break-My-Stuff over there sees. But when I try, it falls completely out and unfolds itself on its way to the floor, revealing itself to be-
"Hey! Look, Meta-Not, I found a map!" I squeal excitedly as I grab it up in one glove and wave it triumphantly around.
Meta Knight just gives me the most unimpressed look you ever saw before turning around and pointing at the nearest wall of the library, on which hangs a map of Dreamland. "Look, Magolor, I found a map, too," he deadpans before placing the last dumped-out book on the shelf again, wrapping his cape around himself, and walking away.
I make a face at his back and then take a closer look at the map I've found. "Yeah, well, my map is at least 20% awesomer." After a minute, I start to think it's just a smaller copy of Mety's wall-map, but then I look over at Whispy Woods, just for old times' sake.
Weirdly enough, there's an absolutely blank spot on the map just at the edge of the woods that stretches clear to Float Islands.
Frowning, I look over at the wall-map. On it, that spot is just more of the Woods. But on this map... hmm.
