A Scorbus Fanfic

Chapter 1

"-And do you remember when your dad dressed as Voldemort and Delphi actually thought it was him! I couldn't believe it! I thought she would see right through the Polyjuice potion." Scorpius was saying.

"Yeah," Albus started "I thought so too! It was only when it started wearing off that she saw it was dad."

"I know right!"

It had been a year since Albus and Scorpius had used the time turner and Delphi had tried and failed to make contact with Voldemort. They had gained a little more respect at school and people had stopped calling Scorpius 'The son of Voldemort' and had been a little nicer to them both. After all, they did save the wizarding world from Voldemort.

"Hey, what happened between you and Rose?" Albus was saying, "I heard you broke up."

"Yeah, I just didn't feel like we were connecting so much or that it was real. I mean, Rose is still a really nice girl, but I mean, we just weren't connecting you know?"

"Yeah I get that."

"And what's good is that she's okay with it as well."

"So are you still like friends or..."

"Not right now, we could be though." Scorpius looked into his friend's eyes and smiled, "I'm sorry if you felt kind of excluded when I was with her."

"No, it's okay. What's important is that we are here now and together!"

"Yeah!" Scorpius laughed.

In the common room, Scorpius was reading a book, as always. Albus dragged himself into the room, "Morning!" he yawned.

"Hey Al"

"Still reading that book?"

"Huh? Oh, yep"

"Ugh it's so boring though, I can't believe we have to read it." Albus groaned, "Like, can't they make us read something about Voldemort or something?!"

"Well I think it's pretty interesting." Scorpius said, not looking up from his book.

"Well muggle history always interests you." Albus walked over to where Scorpius was sitting and laid down on his stomach and looked up to the boy's face. "Don't deny it."

"I'm not!" Scorpius finally looked up from his book to where Albus was lying. He had his feet in the air and his head was resting on his hands. Why did Scorpius think he looked cute at that very moment? Even he wasn't sure.

Scorpius looked away as Albus said "What?"

"Nothing," Scorpius said, "Why do you always do that?"

"Do what?"

"That!" He said looking at Albus, He was now rolling his head and swinging his feat, even cuter, Scorpius thought. Ah, I can't think that. He's my friend.

"Fine," Albus was saying "But you are blushing a lot for some reason, is it really that hot in here?

Scorpius probably blushed even more as he responded with "Yeah, it kind of is."

"Let's get out of here then, go for a walk."

"A- Alright."
