Chapter 8: Snow

"Look, it's snowing!" Scorpius and Albus pressed their faces to the frosting window.

"Yes! Snowball fight!" Avan said from behind them.

"It hasn't settled yet though." Albus said, sadly.

"We'll wait 'till later." Lucas said.

Later, in the afternoon, the snow had finally settled and Albus, Scorpius, Lucas and Avan went out to the courtyard.

"Oh my god it's so cold." Lucas said, miserably.

"It really isn't, just enjoy the snow!" Albus shouted from the other side.

A snowball flew through the air and hit Lucas. "What the-?"

"Ha! Just enjoy it!" Avan yelled at him. More snowballs started to fly around, not only from Avan now.

"Hey! I though we were on a team!?" Scorpius told Albus,

"Not anymore!" Albus threw another one in Scorpius' direction, which he dodged.

"Fine then!" Scorpius threw three at him from is stash. Albus coward, laughing, behind a lump of snow.

After a while, the boys got tired, and decided to go back inside, "Where it is warm." Lucas said. But Avan was still throwing snowballs at them.

"Avan, please stop now." Scorpius asked her, but Avan just looked at him, laughed and threw one into his face. His nose started to bleed

"Avan!" Lucas yelled, "We're done!"

"Oh really?" Avan responded, throwing more.

"Avan! Please, you just made Scorpius get a blood nose!" Albus told her, helping Scorpius.

"Oh please, you're not just about to cry about a small blood nose are you!?"

"AVAN!" Lucas had to yell, "We're done!"

"Fine," Avan looked annoyed, "Be boring little assholes."

"We will be." Albus said, "Are you okay Scorpius?"

"Yeah I'm alright. Just a small blood nose."

"Here," Lucas waved his wand around Scorpius' nose and the bleeding stopped, "There, now you should probably go clean up. I'll talk to Avan."

"Thanks Lucas." Scorpius said, bluntly.

Scorpius and Albus walked over to the Bathrooms and Scorpius started to wash his face as Albus tried to get the blood off Scorpius' cloak.

"Ugh what was that? I mean she just didn't stop. What's wrong with her?"

"Yeah I don't know. I guess she kind of is like that, impulsive." Scorpius said, simply.

"Yeah but she made you get a blood nose Scorp! She didn't even care."

"Hm..."

"Hm? Is that all you're going to say? She can't do that!"

"Well I'm alright, you don't have to worry."

"I know, just be careful around her, especially in those situations." Albus told Scorpius, still washing his cloak in the basin.

"A- Okay." He really cares! Scorpius thought as he dried his face, covering his flustered face.
