Halloween at Castle Bleck

"And... Perfect!" Mimi squealed as O'Chunks hung the last streamer.

"Just in time too. Blumiere and Timpani should be returning from running errands any minute now." Nastasia said while looking up from her clipboard.

"EEEEEEEEE! This costume party will be great!" Mimi screeched. Nastasia and O'Chunks stood back to admire their work.

"And inviting Luigi I guess kinda makes it like a team reunion or something," Nastasia exclaimed.

Castle Bleck's Inner Sanctum was now draped in orange, black, and purple streamers. A table has been set up with many different types of sweets, and Blumiere and Timpani were bringing back the utensils and plates. A few jack o' lanterns have been placed here and there, already lit up on the inside. Mimi had eagerly been helping and providing everyone with costumes. But Luigi was told to bring his own. 

"Oi! Blumiere is comin'!" O'Chunks shouts at them.

Blumiere walks into the room, his mouth hanging ajar with awe as he takes in his surroundings.

"Wow! I can hardly believe that this is the same castle!" Blumiere exclaims, "How did you find the time to do all of this?"

"Well, nothing is too good for you Blu!" Mimi cheers.

"Uh, where is Timpani?" Nastasia asks while searching the room with her eyes.

"She went to go find her costume for tomorrow, but don't worry." Blumiere holds up a plastic bag. "I have the rest of the items for the party!"

Mimi squeals with delight as she rushes to finish the masterpiece of a party. After setting up the last spoon Mimi looks around admiring her handy work.

"I have got to say, this will be the best Halloween party ever-" Mimi gets cut short by a loud, ghastly sound. 

All of the utensils all of a sudden fly through the air. Everyone dives to the ground, covering their heads. Plastic forks, spoons, and knives sticking out of the walls every which way. No one being shishkabobed, thankfully.

"Wh-what was that?!" Nastasia shakingly asks.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" A girl screams from across the castle.

"Timpani!" Blumiere rushes out of the room, darting down the hallways, desperately trying to find her.

He finds her standing in front of an open door with her mouth hanging wide open from shock.

"Timpani are you all right?!" Blumiere exclaims while examining her for any sign of injury.

"I'm fine. It's just what I found in there startled me." Timpani said while pointing to the open doorway.

Nastasia, Mimi, and O'Chunks run up to meet them, winded from how fast they had to move to keep up with him. Nastasia takes on a puzzled expression.

"Isn't that Dimentio's old room?" Nastasia questions.

Blumiere slowly walks into the room. No one other than Dimentio has ever set foot in the room in fear of him doing something to them. But what Blumiere saw inside was definitely not what it was supposed to look like. Books were strewn about the floor, some of them charred and still smoldering. The sheets tossed aside in a heap on the bed and the pillow was thrown across the room with small blood droplets crusted upon it. But it was what was on the walls that startled them most. Big red bloodstains were smeared across the walls, and it was done recently. 

"Wh-what does it mean?" Mimi says while shaking with fear.

"I-I think it means," Blumiere gulps, "that Castle Bleck is haunted."
