"Welcome to the SANCTUARY!" were the first words I heard after having been taken out of the dark room. The sunlight seemed blinding compared to the dark, curtained room. My eyes were still adjusting to the light when I heard the girl's voice "Hey, newbie. What's your name?" "O-Orion." I say hesitantly "Surname?" "B-Black" I say shyly. "Ooooh, you might belong to a clan" she says, clearly intrigued about my surname. "W-what's a clan?" I manage to stutter. "A clan is an inter-related bunch of families that go WAY back. Most clans are prestigious, but the Black Clan is the oldest clan of them all. Goes all the way back to Ancient Egypt. So, you see, naturally I'd be intrigued about your clan. Black's a true-blood clan and that sort of clan's usually really powerful. Both politically and physically. The kids of that clan usually outrank other vampires from other clans in terms of special powers and speed, agility and strength, and intelligence. Since your surname is Black, I'm thinking that's where you're from. I was captivated by all that she said and wanted to learn more. So I asked her about the other clans and other queries about this strange new world I've yet to be accustomed to. "Why did you call me a supernatural? What does that mean?" I asked. "Well, it means you're from a branch of superhumans we call supernaturals.  You're from the branch of.... I'm guessing Hominis Umbra branch of supernaturals. "Shadow man?" I asked hesitantly. "Oh, you speak Latin?" she says, seemingly impressed. "Yup." I say, proud of myself. "Hey, star. Look, check this out. Come on, man." Daryl says with every indication of eagerness written on his face. "You coming, uhhh.. what's your name?" I asked tentatively. "The name's Skylar. Skylar Frost." (A:N She's the pic at the top.) she said. "Cool name." We followed him to a.....brawl? At least I ASSUMED it was a brawl. But there were other things definitely NOT included in your average run-of-the-mill brawl, no. It had, for starters, people who flied while leaving a shadowy trail below them, people who shot literal fireballs and of course, people that transformed into bipedal wolves. There was no moon out, so I assumed it was lycan vs. erm....wizard? "Enjoying the show?" a voice behind me asked. I turned to see Skylar. "Yeah, it's pretty brutal, but that's my kind of jam." I say with a smile. She smiled. "Hey, after this, you need a tour guide?" she asked casually. "Well yeah, haven't a clue about this place, barely stayed here for longer than a day right now after all." She showed me the place. She showed me the Energy Chamber, which was where wizards went gather up energy. She told me hundreds of wizards went there everyday, all requiring different levels of energy and took energy from the chamber. Next was the Soul Crystal Cave, which was where lycans went to restore their power, next was the Sanguis Blood Bank , which was obviously, where vampires went to nourish themselves with blood. I asked why they couldn't just hunt for blood, she said that the Clans had a treaty with the humans to not turn too many people into vampires and that they wouldn't kill anyone as long as vampires stayed hidden. "The treaty is broken occasionally by renegades but usually, The Lunafrost Clan takes care of that.  "What clan?" I ask "The Lunafrost clan, now let me do a rundown so you understand. Like the human government, the supernatural government is divided into groups. A clan makes up a group. Your clan, the Black Clan is the head of government. Responsible for keeping the general supernatural population under wraps, passing laws, war plans and other extras such as Supernatural Scientific Investigations Department. "A-what department? I ask, surprised.

SSID. The department responsible for any scientific discovery humans can't understand or handle. Like the shadow wolves, (A:N Pic below) the Deadly Hellion ( A:N Pic Below Shadow Wolf) and the last and most notoriously, painfully deadly Red Dragon. ( A:N Last Pic) That beastie, the red Dragon is just pure evil."

"Minion of Tempus himself. she says grimly. "T-Tempus? Who's that? I ask. "A supernatural. His goal was to be immortal. Not the vampire/ type of immortality you're thinking of, no. Tempus considered that redundant and unessential fake immortality. He... wanted, like total freaking immortality. Like no way to die, whatsoever. So he went on a voyage around the world for the key to total immortality and agelessness. He drank Dracula's Blood, absorbed the essence of Teneberis, nothing. He still COULD die, and he was getting frustrated. Until.... he found the key. A damned day it was, for all of us when he did. But for him, it was his holy grail. His Deus Ex Machina. He found out in a book from another dimension that if he drank the blood of a dhampir mixed with Dracula's blood, and then said an incantation to summon Zephyr, The Underlord of Shadows, he could be granted agelessness and immortality. For a price. He had to consume souls every month. If not, he won't become a fit vessel for Zephyr and he'll just absorb Tempus. So that's how he made a notorious name for himself. He's since been called a lotta names. Like Tempus The Immortal, Deathbringer, Lord of Darkness and other names. Most people didn't  know he hosts an Underlord, so they thought he was one. Until our scientists discovered the ancient texts. They saw what Tempus saw. Cocktail mix of powerful blood then a Latin incantation, then BOOM! Suddenly you're Mr. Forever Young Guy." she says, with a visible scowl on her face. We went to the hills and I was enjoying the view of the sunsets until I saw a two people climbing up. They looked bloody and battered, with cuts and slashes all over their face with blood streaming from their eyes. They looked like they just lost a REALLY, REALLY brutal fight. Skylar ran up to them, and carried them to the hill. I was worried. I wondered what could've happened that hurt two grown men THIS BADLY, and oh of course. They seem to be from here, so I was even more petrified. Because anything that could hurt two guys from THIS PLACE, in which flying and wizards, vampires, werewolves are normal is quite frankly, very alarming.

Man, it has been a dark day.
