My phone was buzzing all day. Ever since Ronnie posted that picture of me, my social media literally blew up over night. I couldn't be mad, though. All of his fans are super sweet and supportive. Ronnie had talked to me earlier saying that he wanted me to come over because he wanted to talk about something and meet a few people. I instantly grew nervous. He couldn't say it over the phone?
I found myself driving up his long driveway. The security guard buzzed me in and and parked in front of his house. I didn't even have to knock on the door and it opened right when I reached the front step. Ronnie invited me inside. I took off my shoes and followed him to his couch.
"Hi." I chirped.
He smiled at me. "I missed you."
"I missed you, too."
"Look," he said. "I'm just gonna cut right to the chase." He situated himself on the couch so he was facing me more. "It's obvious that there's something more than friendship here, right?"
I nodded my head, not sure of where he was going with this.
"I like you, you like me. We've known each other for a year now. I want you to be apart of my crazy, fucked up life." He said.
Oh, dear God.
"I know that might be a lot to ask, given my current social status, but, I really can't see a life without you anymore. So, I guess what I'm asking is, if you want to be my girlfriend?"
I blankly looked at him. I was trying to process everything. I couldn't picture myself living in luxury and being famous. But, I could see him in my future.
He couldn't read my expression and his face turned sad. "If you don't want to-"
"Yes." I cut him off.
"What?"
"Yes, Ronnie. I'll be your girlfriend." I smiled.
