It has been a week since they got back from the short trip. Yibo won second place in the race and according to him, his engine overheated at the last minute otherwise he should have gotten first place- not that Xiaozhan understood his dazzling metal clad world. He had no clue about engines and motorracing. Since then, Yibo was cooped up in his workshop with his buddies tuning the engines to get ready for another race coming up the month after.
Xiaozhan too, had resumed his habitual daily routine as if those short vacation days were nothing but a fleeting dream.
"Wow, the pictures are so beautiful. I don't remember your photography skills are this good Zhan!"
"I got someone to take it for me Lucy."
However, the pictures that he took home were breathtaking. He got them printed into large sized A2 and A3s and spread them out on a blank wall. The whole three metre long wall was filled to the brim with picture collage of his trip from top to bottom most of which were taken by Wangji.
"Seriously, how much did you pay the photographer for doing this for you? Its super high quality! We can probably sell these at photoshock and get some extra cash."
"Woww Zhange, are good enough to graze the covers of national geographic!"
Qiao er chipped inEven their receptionist came inside to admire the work.
Xiaozhan laughed.
"Yes probably. But nope. Not selling them. They're mine."
If a picture speaks a thousand words, a wall full of them sparked endless conversations, evoked a myriad of colorful feelings. They gave him an inexplicable sense of calm and his heart would flutter with warmth when looking at them.
Needless say, the owners finally accepted the new proposal and Zhan was to begin work immediately.
He had not seen Wangji for a while. He had heard Wangji had been offered to do commercial shots and had acquired his own studio two stations away from his workplace.
Since the client finally accepted Xiaozhan's latest design, he was going to celebrate with Wangji to thank him for his help. That was a good timing since when he commence on work he would not have so much free time anymore. He had dropped a message since morning yet Wangji had not replied. He tried calling him but Wangji didnt pick up.
He had not seen Wangji much these days. When they had gotten back, Wangji had busied himself with work and barely ate dinner at home.
What would Wangji look like at work, Xiaozhan was curious to find out. He could surprise him a little, then they could have lunch and hang out together.
This should be the place that he told me about last time.

Flash Flash..
"Why are you wearing orange? This color is off. I can't shoot you. Liming, get her to change."
"This lighting is too bright, get the dimmers!"
"Whats the matter Lan laoshi? Are you okay?"
Wangji massaged his temples and groaned. Nothing seemed to please him. He felt irritated. The lighting, the model, the technicalities were not good enough. The littlest things seemed to irk him greatly.
Wangji had agreed to do a photoshoot for a new Y travel magazine.
He had been pacing mad all morning.
"He's the hotshot that won the international photographer award. Lets just listen to him."
"Your coffee Lanlaoshi."
