I woke up & looked around I almost forgot we stayed at Dave's lastnight. I insisted on getting a hotel but he wouldn't let me it was almost like an order. I pretended to be sleep when I heard talking, "Call one of the guys tell em we need a house move in ready by 10pm fully furnished too" it was Cell, I was so glad he made it home with everything going on, we all needed to be in one spot. I walked into the kitchen where Baby, & Cell were. "Where's Rico?" I asked "Well goodmorning to you too nigga" Cell sarcastic ass replied. "You know that's her baby" "Y'all sound jealous" I laughed "He went to go get his leg checked out tho, Dave took em" I nodded while looking around David's place. It was nice, it looked untouched like no one actually lived here. His ass ain't even have dishes. I started thinking about my apartment, I was too worried about Rico lastnight I hadn't come to terms with everything I lost in the fire. I was grateful that everything I did loose was replaceable but that didn't make it hurt any less. All of the stuff I worked my ass off to get . GONE! I got a little teary eyed. I didn't even notice Rico come back in, he was on crutches now. "Broke my foot" he said sitting down next to me, he put his head in my lap & fell asleep.
The meds had Rico sleep most of the day, and I just slept to keep from crying. I had talked to Jayda & my grandmother occasionally. I hadn't even ate yet, how was I gonna find somewhere to live so soon? I thought. I layed back down crying myself to sleep.
"Ari wake up, cmon." I opened my eyes seeing Cell standing over me. "What?" I rolled over since Rico was up now, I guess I had no choice. I looked at the time 'It's almost midnight" I said to no one specific. We all got into East truck & drove off. I felt so bad for Rico, he complained about his foot pain the whole ride. About 40 minute later we pulled up to a beautiful house! "Who house is this?" I asked sitting up in my seat. "Yours" Cell threw me a pair of keys while helping Rico out the truck. I wasted no time running to the door & unlocking the front door. I was speechless.
