Pretend? Are they still pretending?
Now that Knot raises that concern, it had Arthit thinking twice of their current relationship all of a sudden.
He tried to think of the past events as to what might have given Knot and his other friends the reason to question their status, so Arthit can understand them. However, all Arthit got is an aching head with a loud voice in his head saying he's not gay!
Not that there's nothing wrong with being gay. Arthit just doesn't think he's that kind of person and like what Tutah said, it's his sexuality so he has the right to label himself as 'straight'.
But... what if he's gay all of a sudden because Kongpob turned him into one? Is that possible though? To have someone turning one gay?
If it's possible though, considering the time frame of them knowing each other- 3 months of fighting like a married couple, 3 months of going anywhere they'd like to go, 3 months of being each other's best friends in the wee hours of the night, and 3 months of staying content in each other's company.
Damn it... 3 months!
How fast is that? How good is Kongpob that he made Arthit move on from Namtan and like him instead in that short period? With Namtan, it was slow-paced, Arthit didn't instantly feel something for her.
They've been friends, distant friends, for as long as Arthit could remember. The only time Arthit did feel something for her was prompted by those times Namtan was the one to be there beside him during his tough times. Arthit was aware of his growing feelings for her, he was keeping tabs on it, writing what changed with how the way he looked at her, and how he treated her.
But with Kongpob, assuming what Knot said is the truth, then it's different. It's fast-paced and it all happened in a blur, all without Arthit knowing.
Kongpob's like this storm Arthit wasn't prepared for.
That being said, it is very impossible. It can't just happen like that.
But the real question should be...
For Arthit, is it still pretend?
Is it?
"P'?"
Arthit shakes out his thoughts and turns to look at Kongpob who's looking at him in expectation.
Arthit hums.
"You're not listening to me, are you?"
"What were you saying again?"
Kongpob shakes his head in disappointment. "I wonder what you're thinking that had you distracted."
"It's nothing. Just ask what you wanted to ask me."
"Are you thinking of someone?"
Yes. Arthit is thinking of Kongpob.
"No! And that's not your question. What was it that you wanted to ask me?"
"Alright, I'm giving you a free pass though you're not listening to me because you're my boyfriend."
Arthit blushes. That. That's one of the reasons why he's confused because Kongpob is a tease who likes to make Arthit feel so loved and confused with the feelings Kongpob's putting in him. As if they are in a relationship.
As if they're not pretending. As if this isn't for the company.
As if he's not affecting Arthit.
As if he doesn't make Arthit's heart pound faster in his chest nor makes his stomach flip like there are somersaulting in him. As if lately, Arthit doesn't hear a white noise pounding in his ears and all his hearing sense can focus on is Kongpob's voice.
