A Drarry Story-The Lion & The Snake

Chapter 9

Draco's POV

(yes again, sorry Harry will arrive again soon)

     Completely dedicated to getting a appointment with Dumbledore today I reluctantly said a quick goodbye to Harry after breakfast and headed towards the headmasters concealed office.  The huge griffon truly seemed to be alive even though i knew it was just a remarkable statue. As i approached it looked even more daunting, regardless i quickly knocked twice and waited a bit impatiently. 

Just as my foot was about to start tapping, revealing my mood, the huge stone guardian opened to reveal the headmasters hidden office. Slowly climbing the stairs i took in my surroundings, i hadn't expected it t be so beautiful in here. It was my first time visiting but with the way this year was going i was sure it wouldn't be my last.

Reaching the top of the stairs, the first thing i saw was Fawkes who looked absolutely stunning sitting on his perch pruning his feathers. Dumbledore sat next to his pet's perch behind a massive oak desk. The desk was littered with papers in pile and strewn about and a weird globe looking thing sat in one corner. It was exactly what you would have expected from Dumbledore. 

Chaos that only he truly understood.

As  i walked to one of the grand chairs in front of his desk the headmaster raised his head to look acknowledge me. 

"Draco what a wonderful surprise, i had a feeling you would be in here soon, please have a seat" I obliged and sat down, ready to plead my case to Dumbledore.

"Would you like a chocolate frog Draco? I have every card except the rarest and i wont be able to eat all this chocolate myself." The fact that my headmaster was asking me to eat chocolate with him so that he could get a collectible card honestly put me at ease. Feeling a little less uncomfortable as i sat in this daunting office.

"Professor Dumbledore, as you know my Dothraki and I have found our mate, and i am sure you are well aware that Harry Potter accepted me as a mate and a boyfriend."

"Draco, the second that your Dothraki side showed i knew exactly who your mate would be do not underestimate me. As i am sure i know what you are here to ask of me, still i will let you ask me anyway." Blinking, i quickly processed this new information, then decided it didn't really matter if he knew about Harry already, honestly i don't know why i didn't expect him to know already.

"Its a bit of an unorthodox question sir. My Dothraki and i are overjoyed to be with our mate but with us both being in different houses and by default different classes i feel a constant ache in my chest. i wasn't able to sleep at all last night and apparently harry wasn't either and that made him upset which in turn made me upset...."

"Look Malfoy please just get to the point i am aware of how Dothraki bonds work, if you remember i was headmaster of your father as well and its safe to say he did not handle it as well as you. Just ask your question so i can say yes." Dumbledore smiled at me as i gulped and got up the courage to ask.

"I would like to request a extra dorm room be made for Harry and me to share. It would be best if it was magically between the Gryffindor and Slytherin common rooms so that we could each access our houses with ease.  I think it would put not only my Dothraki and I at ease but also harry. We could even decorate the inside ourselves if necessary. of course it would have to be a secret until its ok for the school to know that i am a Dothraki." Breathing deeply out, i waited for his decision. For some reason the headmaster had a bit of a smirk on his face and it unnerved me.

"Well Draco, that wasn't so hard was it? You seem to have this very well thought out and honestly you figured your crap out much quicker than your father which makes my job as your headmaster so much simpler. Yes you shall have your request and i believe that you will be quite happy with the new chamber that lies between the two houses." With that he smiled and stood up with his wand in hand and quickly waved it whispering an incantation under his breath. 

"It is done Draco, and please don't hesitate to visit me anytime, i welcome visits from my students, especially my favorite ones" Winking at me, he stayed standing while i got up slowly and bid him a quick "thank you sir" before vacating the office. I let out a sigh of relief as i heard the Griffon Slide shut behind me, once again concealing the mysteries within. 

According to my Dothraki, who was of course begging rather annoyingly to see our mate again, Harry was by the lake. In the most dignified speed walk possible because i am a Malfoy of course I made my way to my mate. Finding him of course with Ron and Hermione. Hermione I had no problem with, Ron was just flat out annoying some of the time, nevertheless they are Harry's family and so now they are also mine.

Reaching the blanket that they had set up to study on i settled myself between Ron and Harry. But i still didn't like the few inches that were between us so i scooped him up and sat him in my lap before he could even protest. Harry turned around to look at me and I was once again ensnared in his eyes, this boy is mine I can't believe it. He pressed a quick peck to my lips before smiling ad turning back to his conversation with his friends. His body melted against mine as he settled into my hold and i bit back the stupid grin that wanted to scar my face as i inhaled his strong scent. With my Dothraki now fully sated, i joined in the groups conversation. I would surprise Harry with our new room tonight.
