Kyle hurried across the room, fists balled and looking pretty fed up. " Did any of these assholes mess with you?"

" No. You've marked your territory so hard that they're scared to even say ' hello'."

" Good." He jut his chin up and took my cold hand. "Damn near had a mess to clean up."

I frowned at the ground. He's so stoic and hot headed, it gets on my nerves sometimes but what can I do? He literally marked me as his. I touched the bite shaped scar on my wrist.

" Marking you has its benefits." He smirked.

" Yeah like being cut out from social interaction. " I murmured under my breath.

He turned me to face him. " Oh but darling, I'm much better than all them pesky humans. You were a loner before anyway till I came along."

Obviously he heard me... Lovely. Sometimes I wish I didn't inherit the running mouth from my folks. No matter how hard I try, I just can't seem to bite my tongue. " You're so narcissistic." I fired back but all that made him do was chuckle.

He tucked his fingers under my chin. " I know, isn't it great?"

You're kidding me right? My goodness, I fell head over heels for this whackadoo? Man, I wish I could go back in time and not have engaged in a conversation with him.

I still remember it clear as day. He seemed so sweet and kind of a bad boy when he first came up to me. I was by myself at the library buying some new books but decided to sit and read for a bit.

He came up to me with his hot smile and once he spoke, his voice had me hooked. It was smooth as silk but deep and strong. He was wearing this biker jacket and denim jeans. His black timberlands were near perfect besides a small scuff. " Barely said hello and you're already checking me out." He joked playfully and asked if he could sit beside me. Of course, I said sure and he asked what I was reading.

" Oh, the house of night series." I had replied in my soft, shy voice. I mean for my age you'd think I'd be able to speak normally but it was ridiculously bunny like. Clearly it shouted " Innocent and easily scared."

He was teasing me and flirting so we decided to head out for some pizza and that's where it all started. Sounded pretty normal right up to the marking his territory part, right? Yeah I know...

" Don't act like you don't like it when I call you, mine." He smirked, cupping his hands around my face. " Mine-" He whispered kissing my neck. " Mine," He moved to kiss my collarbone bone where he bit me last. " Mine." Placing a kiss on my jaw, he met my eyes again. " You'll always be mine."

I wont deny it. I do like it when he calls me his. Hell, I was never a social butterfly anyway so I guess I'll admit It.

" I know." I said softly, gazing back into his grey eyes. They're like a storm on a ocean. Dark and destructive but I get lost in them every time.

" Good."

Everyone is afraid of him and everyone knows if you come anywhere near me that you're gonna get a shoe up your butt and your throat ripped out. I won't bring up the time he made someone wet themselves and gouged out their eyes with a sword shaped necklace pendant... Yeah. Don't ask.

I guess first impressions really do matter. I never thought he'd turn out to be a psychopath who has some serious territorial issues but here we are.

Now, you're probably wondering, why not just leave? Well, that's where it gets tricky and practically impossible. Kyle knew exactly what he was doing and what the outcome would be but I didn't and now I'm here.
