chapter 5

shehnaaz kept looking at the door even after himanshi left. her trance broke when she heard sidharth calling her.
"Baby", sidharth called out with same desperation, shehnaaz immediately turned other side and started to move from there as she doesn't know what else to do but sidharth was quick enough to stop her by holding her hand from back.
sidharth pulled her hand indicating her to turn around but shehnaaz didn't move an inch. "please", understanding the consequences he pleaded her.
"I need some time", told shehnaaz adding a "please" as she didn't have any more strength to fight with him, she moved upstairs as sidharth left her hand unwillingly.
he sat on the nearest couch resting his forehead in his palms with closed eyes showing his frustrated self.
Ramya didi came there asking him to have his food, he asked her to get a bowl of daal chawal and had it then and there itself.
he asked didi, did shehnaaz had her food?
nai baba, maine pucha tho bolthi hai man nahi hai, she answered making sidharth more upset as shehnaaz would never skip her meals in any situation.
knowing what to do he opened the fridge door taking out 3 chocolava cakes from fridge, reheated them and gave them to ramya didi, ordering her to just leave them at her side table.

Shehnaaz crying her heart out in washroom not knowing what more to do came out wiping her watery face after washing with a towel. she smiled with tears looking at the chocolava's on her side table knowing who has sent them. she opened them and completed eating them , throwing the wrappers in the bin, she went to her side of bed and slept.
hearing the door click sound she closed eyes , she opened her eyes when she felt the bed dip on the other side . she looked directly into his eyes, tears continuously flowing from her eyes, he felt so bad and helpless at the situation seeing her this way.
her eyelashes fluttered lazily at him telling him she is about to fall a sleep.
as soon as he felt she was asleep moved a little towards her wiping her tears gently from her face kissed her forehead , closed his eyes with an arm on her waist thanking her mentally for the promise she asked him to make that day .........

Flash back:
shehnaaz had some rules to be followed in their relationship, out of which one was they need to gift each other monthly once and make promises to fulfil them. The gift need not be an expensive one nor even a thing it should just be a beautiful memory to them, she aske him to gift her a memory every month and viceversa.
it was a random day 5 months after their marriage, sidharth came home and went to bed room in search of shehnaaz and hugged her from back resting his hands on her waist resting his chin on her shoulder, while shehnaaz was arranging tray of 2 covered bowls on her side table while the aroma of his favourite pasta spread over the room making him smile and kissing her cheek, she ginned at him mischievously turning to him pushing him on bed and trying to tower him but their heights were almost same by their positions.
