Chapter 1

They won. They won against Shiratorizawa. They were going to Nationals. But,, something wasn't right.

Yamaguchi walks over to Tsukishima, collapsing in his hands. Tsukishima caught Yamaguchi and held him in his arms, "good job out there, Tadashi" Yamaguchi weakly smiles at him, before..Yamaguchi clenched his chest as he collapsed to the ground know kneeling, he was breathing heavily, Tsukishima quickly kneeled down in front of Yamaguchi catching the attention of their teammates.

"Gomen..Tsukki.." Yamaguchi mumbled giving Tsukishima a soft smile before...he stopped breathing.

"T-Tadashi..?" Tsukishima held Yamaguchi in his arms, all the celebration stopped, they all looked at Tsukishima who was holding Yamaguchi's lifeless body in his hands.

"T-Tadashi!? Wake up! This isn't funny!" Tsukishima shouted catching everyone's attention, including Shiratorizawa.

Sugawara quickly ran to the said boy kneeling down, he searched for Yamaguchi's pulse but..there was no sign of it..Sugawara slowly stood up tears in his eyes, Tsukishima looked at him, hoping that Yamaguchi was still alive at some point.

Sugawara shook his head as tears rolled down his cheeks, he collapsed to the floor crying while all the other members watch, confused.

Daichi ran to Sugawara and kneeled next to him, "Suga..." Daichi whipped Sugawara's tears away and looked at Yamaguchi, his body pale and cold, Daichi couldn't help but sobbed himself, once the team noticed what was going on, they cried, their cries and sobs could be heard all around. "TADASHI!" Tsukishima shouted in a cracking voice.

Coach Ukai and Takeda sensei had called an ambulance to take away Yamaguchi's body, Tsukishima didn't want to let go, but he did eventually, the Shiratorizawa members went to say their condolences before leaving.

They got back to their school, Coach Ukai gathered them around in the gym, "Today..we lost a good player..he was a hardworking young man..always kind and caring towards everyone around him, I'm so sorry for your lost, Tsukishima. Yamaguchi Tadashi, you will be missed by many, may you rest in peace" small sobs were heard in the gym, after that they left school, going back to their own homes.

Tsukishima was thinking a lot, he didn't know what to feel anymore, he was numb, emotionless. "Im so sorry for always being a jerk to you Tadashi...I never got to tell you how I felt..How much I loved you..Now that you slipped away from me..I don't know what I should do anymore..I love you..Yamaguchi Tadashi.." Tsukishima cried himself to sleep.

"Tsukishima hasn't been coming to school for a few days now.." Hinata spoke to Kageyama while drinking his water, "he just needs time alone, he'll come to school eventually" Kageyama spoke as he headed back to the gym, "now c'mon, you still suck at receiving" he smiles at Hinata, Hinata gave Kageyama a small smile before following him

I hope you rest in peace, Yamaguchi, we' see each other in the after life..
