Chapter 4...

(still Burr's POV)

Knock knock knock

The knocking started again.

"Who's here?" asks Hercules in a serious tone.

"It's the girls and me!"

"Angelica!" said a voice

"Eliza!~" sounded another voice.

"AND PEGGY," yelled Peggy as loud as she could because she can.

"Girls!!" exclaimed Hercules, my heart dropped.

'Theodosia must be here!' I thought to myself, Lafayette opened the door and let the woman and children in.

"Papa!" I heard Theo, she was running to me.

"Hey, Theo!" I said happily, Theodosia also ran up to me and we all hugged.

"Where's Alexander?" asked Eliza.

"W-we don't know..." says Laurens sadly, Philip and Angie glanced at each other and Angie starts crying, Philip hugs her and kisses her cheek.

"It's okay guys, I'm sure we'll find him." cooed Eliza

"I hope so," mutters Philip.

"Guys, we should go now," I say quietly, Philip opened his mouth to object but then realized it wasn't worth it at this point. Angie continued crying.

"No! We can't leave papa!" yelled Angie through gritted teeth, I gave her a look of sympathy and glanced at Eliza to help, she sighed.

"Honey we have to, I'm sure if we move locations we will find him." cooed Eliza again, she was trying to hold back tears and seem strong in front of her children. Laurens was dead quiet, Madison and Jefferson glanced at each other, Angelica was whispering something to Eliza and she smiled lightly, Maria was staring at Eliza, Herc and Laf were talking, I don't know what Lee was doing, and Peggy... well she's eating all the food in the store because she can.

"So, are we leaving?" I ask hesitantly.

"Yes." says everyone at the same time, we finish gathering up food and we head off into the night.

"Why are we leaving when it's this dark?" asks Peggy.

"I'm not sure," I answered gravely.

"Shouldn't we wait till morning?"

"No."

"Fine."

(John's POV)

Everyone was walking as a group with Burr in the lead, I decided to go to the very back just so I could have a better chance of seeing Alexander again if we do find him, We were passing by hills in the dark cold weather, I kept glancing up them to see if I could spot anything,

'Still nothing.' I think angrily, I couldn't take it anymore, being without Alexander is tortuous, I just wanted him back... even if he was a zombie. I continued walking, then suddenly I heard so bushes move.

Rustle rustle rustle

"Alexander?" we all say at the same time, no answer. The bushes stopped moving until we all saw an unclear-human figure.

"Alexander?" I ask again, I start to walk up to him then suddenly Thomas grabs my hand.

"Listen to me now John, you are not going up there. We don't know what that thing is! It could be a zombie!" exclaimed Thomas, I looked away.

"Fine," I say finally and we continue, I could see the dark figure looking at me, It was creepy and it wouldn't stop.

"Uh guys, that weird figure thing won't stop following us," said Madison.

"I know." spat Burr.

"And you don't care?" asked Madison

"Yep, It doesn't matter," answered Burr.

"Oh, okay," says Madison, Jefferson whispered something to Madison and he smiled and laughed.

"What's so funny?" asked Burr, he started to sound impatient.

"Uhhh nothing." replied both of the boys.

"Whatever." spat Burr.

I was getting very concerned about everyone, we were all sick and tired of this apocalypse, but hey, at least we aren't in a pandemic. (haha very funny, John.)

"Where are we even going?" asks Maria.

"I don't know," says Burr,

"I think we should stop for the night, I can hear the faint sound of zombies," states Maria.

"Fine, we'll find somewhere to sleep.," says Burr finally, we all cheer in happiness quietly,

We walked for 2 more hours and everyone was super tired, we then found a cottage in the middle of the forest, checked it, and when it was declared safe, we slept.

"Goodnight!" I say as I crawl into bed.

"Goodnight." says, everyone else.

Everything goes black.

(Sorry about the short chapter guys! I'll do more for the next chapter.)
